Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s staff are ‘Giving it five years’ before they Divorce

After their wedding, and have faced a barrage of scrutiny. The two married in 2018, right from the onset of their engagement, there were a lot of rumours coming out of the palace.

It turns out that Harry and Meghan's employees joked about only giving them five years before divorcing at one point.

In the royal family, and had a tough time.
Harry was never a fan of being in the spotlight when he was younger. He fantasized for a life where he could be free of the royal family's shackles and the relentless media scrutiny. He knew when he met Meghan Markle that the two of them could make a life for themselves outside of the royal family, but they did give it a try.

Meghan had a tough time when Harry and Meghan first began dating. Just before she moved to the United Kingdom, she was often mocked by the papers. And things didn't get any better once the two got together. There were rumours of a split between Meghan Markle and , which sparked speculation that Harry and were feuding.

Meghan was often targeted by the news, which published misleading stories about her and also published a private letter from Meghan to her father. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry lodged a complaint against three British tabloids in 2019.

Staff at the palace are said to have laughed about the couple's union lasting ‘five years.'

Meghan and Harry were entitled to palace staff because they were still official members of the royal family. After news emerged that Meghan submitted workday emails as early as 5 a.m., unnamed sources started spreading stories of what transpired between the Sussexes and their staffers, and Meghan was painted in a negative light.

Beyond workday gossip, The Telegraph reported that there were even whispers about Harry and Meghan's relationship among staffers — and that their now-former workers don't believe the couple's marriage will last.

Before Harry and Meghan stood down in 2019, a former royal aide told the paper, “There is a lot of sympathy for Harry, but Meghan is still a bit of an unknown quantity.” The royal aide also told The Sun that there were “cattier” discussions going on behind the scenes, with some staffers “giving it five years” before Harry and Meghan announced their separation.
