The Queen and William are more popular than Harry and Meghan after the interview

Since the interview aired in the United States on March 7 and the United Kingdom on March 8, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's royal racist charges dominated the news cycle. The fallout, on the other hand, continues to make headlines around the world.

has a net favorability rating of +28 percent, while Meghan has a net favorability rating of +15 percent, according to a poll conducted by YouGov for The Economist yesterday.

Americans still think of II more favorably, with a ranking of +42 percent, though (+34 percent) and (+33 percent) are also in the lead.

Meghan is just a few percentage points ahead of Prince Edward, the queen's fourth brother, who polls at +14 percent.

Although Meghan is American and had a prior career in entertainment before joining the royal family, Prince Harry has higher ratingshan her.

In comparison to the United Kingdom, there does not seem to be an age gap in American opinions toward Harry and Meghan, with over 65s favoring the pair marginally more than younger voters.

The prince had a favorable ranking of +37 percent for those aged 65 and over, compared to +20 percent among those aged 18 to 29.

Meghan received +18 percent favorability from those aged 65 and over, compared to +16 percent among those aged 18 to 29.

According to a new poll, young people in the United Kingdom are much more likely to favor the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, although many older people do not trust their interview and hold them in low regard.

Statista polls also show the queen and Prince William are preferred over Prince Harry and Meghan.
