Kate Middleton was worried that Meghan ‘appeared embarrassed’ of her family members
According to a royal author, the Duchess of Cambridge was concerned about Prince Harry in the run-up to his wedding to Meghan Markle because she ‘appeared embarrassed' about some members of her family.
According to a royal biographer, Kate Middleton was concerned that Prince Harry had not met his in-laws prior to his wedding.
When Prince William's brother took his then-fiancée to stay with them at their Norfolk home Amner Hall for Christmas shortly after they revealed their engagement to the world in 2017, Kate Middleton, 39, allegedly voiced her reservations to Prince William's brother.
The Duchess of Cambridge was concerned, according to Ingrid Seward, editor in chief of Majesty Magazine, that Meghan felt ashamed about her family.
‘She could not understand why Harry had never met his future father-in-law, nor why Meghan, who Harry assured was The One and “ticked all his boxes”, appeared embarrassed about her family and unwilling to speak about them apart from her mother,' Ingrid told The Sun.
When Harry took his then-fiancée to William and Kate's Norfolk house, certain topics were brought to the fore.

Following their visit, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge thanked Meghan for “mucking in and playing with George and Charlotte.”
The in-laws were apparently not pleased when Prince Harry subsequently guest edited BBC Radio 4's Today programme and informed viewers that his loved ones were “the family I suppose she's never had.”
For the Duchess of Cambridge, it was “all a bit worrying,” according to the royal journalist.
As the big day arrived, only Meghan's mum, Doria Ragland, was able to participate, leaving the bride to walk down the aisle with her father-in-law, Prince Charles.
When Meghan's parents split when she was six years old, she stayed with her mother until she was a teenager, when she moved in with Thomas.
Thomas, who was supposed to lead his daughter down the aisle, admitted he'd experienced a heart attack and would not be able to participate.
