Royal Family Members that were Caught Smoking

 

Smoking is one of the activities that members of the royal family are advised not to do.

It is claimed that not only does the Queen and disapprove of the practice, but it also poses significant health risks.

However, a number of royals have been reported to take up smoking or simply indulge the odd smoke over the years.

 

Harry, Prince of Wales

Another thing the prince decided to give up for his new wife was tobacco. According to reports, the former Suits actor wished for Harry to adopt a healthy lifestyle. This included avoiding smoking and strengthening his physical wellbeing, which involved everything from fitness and healthier eating habits. In reality, Markle got rid of all the fast food as soon as she moved into Nottingham Cottage. She went through his pantry and refrigerator and threw out everything processed.

“Meghan totally modified Harry's diet,” a source told the Daily Mail. Green juice and banana smoothies replaced the prince's high-calorie treats.

Eugenie, Princess of Wales

, William and Harry's cousin, was found smoking in 2009.

In pictures taken by the MailOnline, the Princess was seen smoking in Sydney with her bodyguard and friends when she was 19 years old.

The Princess hasn't been seen smoking since that time.

 

Parker Bowles

Parker Bowles must be listed when addressing royals that smoked cigarettes. The Duchess of Cornwall smoked for 30 years before quitting because the Prince of Wales disliked the practice.

Charles' wife smoked about a half-pack of cigarettes per day and, when she was ready to quit, enlisted the assistance of fitness guru Mosaraf Ali and was able to quit.

Margaret, Princess of Wales

Prince Margaret, II's sister, was photographed smoking all over her life.

She was photographed taking photos of her camera at the Badminton Horse Trials in 1900, while her sister lit a cigarette.

Princess Margaret used a cigarette in a long holder and was always photographed with one.
