Why Sarah Ferguson may not attend Prince Philip funeral
Prince Philip's funeral has been greatly diminished due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Just 30 people are permitted to attend a funeral under the new UK government's Covid-19 rules.
Although the identities of the 30 participants are unknown, a source close to the royal family has stated that Prince Andrew's ex-wife Sarah Ferguson will not be there.
The Duke of Edinburgh “didn't want anything to do with her.”
The following is what the source told MailOnline: “It's not decided for certain.
“But I'd be surprised if she did because numbers are going to be limited.

“Philip also blamed Fergie for a lot.
“He didn't hate her, but he didn't want to have anything to do with her.
“He couldn't understand why her and Andrew were still living together.”
The royal funeral will be broadcast and will take place on Saturday, April 17 at 3 p.m.
The general public has been told that they will not be able to attend the funeral because of the pandemic.
In addition, Prince Philip will not lie in state or receive a complete state funeral, which he would have been entitled to, choosing instead for a low-key ceremonial funeral in accordance with his wishes.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and Prime Minister Boris Johnson are two individuals who will not be there.
The ten pallbearers and funeral officials, will not be included in the total amount of people who will be allowed to participate.
On Thursday, the complete guest list will be revealed.
Fergie was considered “beyond the pale” by Prince Philip.
According to a royal biographer, the late Prince Philip felt Sarah Ferguson was “beyond the pale” and gave her a broad berth after toe-sucking snaps surfaced.
The Duke of Edinburgh, according to Gyles Brandreth, concluded that ‘it was enough' and that he didn't want anything to do with her any more.
The Duke and Duchess of York married in 1986, but their union ended in disgrace only six years later.
In March 1992, Sarah Ferguson, also identified as “Fergie,” and Prince Andrew declared their split.
Five months later, the Duchess was engulfed in a storm after provocative photos of her with her ‘financial advisor' were revealed in the Daily Mirror, taken at her holiday villa in St Tropez.
The images, taken with a telephoto lens while the pair lounged by the lake, show Texan millionaire John Bryan kissing and sucking the Duchess' toes and arch.
The pair was also seen laughing, hugging, and frolicking in the water.
“That Andrew and Sarah appeared to remain friends after their separation — and that they shared a home even after their divorce — seemed to him ‘truly bizarre',” Gyles claims.
