Mila Kunis Lied About her Age To Get Role In That 70s Show

Finding an acting position in Hollywood can be difficult, especially for a rookie who is just starting out. Mila Kunis, a well-known actress, fabricated a huge lie in order to land the role of Jackie in That 70s Show.

That 70s Show was one of the best early-2000s television comedy. The sitcom was set in 1970s Wisconsin and centred around a group of adolescent pals, their misadventures, and their coming of age. Kunis portrayed Jackie Burkhart, a pampered privileged girl who grew up as the series went. She is one of the two females in the group of friends.

When Mila Kunis was cast in the part of Jackie Burkhart, a regulation stipulated that the performers must be 18 years old. Mila, on the other hand, was not quite eighteen at the time. During Jay Leno’s show, the actress disclosed that she was actually 14 years old and had lied about her age to get the part.

“I told them I was a little bit older,” the Black Swan actress told Leno, according to Screen Rant. “I told them I was gonna be 18, which is not technically a lie, cause at one point… I was gonna be 18.” However, even after learning the truth, the show’s producers decided that Kunis was still the ideal fit for the job.

In the aftermath of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Ashton Kutcher has shown his support for his wife Mila Kunis’ native nation.

Mila Kunis, Kutcher’s wife and actress, was born and raised in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, until the age of seven, according to People Magazine.

“I stand with Ukraine,” Kutcher said on Twitter on Friday, before retweeting a photo of the Ukrainian flag.

Kutcher’s statement comes only days after Russia launched a full-fledged invasion on Ukraine, with explosions audible across the country. Citizens are being transported to safety shelters in the midst of the crisis, with many fleeing the nation in fear.

The world community has strongly denounced President Vladimir Putin’s assault towards Ukraine, with economic penalties and NATO forces massing in the region. Putin claims that Ukraine has a long history with Russia and that he is acting in the sake of “peacekeeping.”

Mila had previously spoken about her childhood in Ukraine in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, revealing that her family had fled the nation and relocated to the United States “At the time of the Soviet Union’s demise.

“It was very communist,” Kunis said, “and my parents wanted my brother and me to have a future, and so they just dropped everything. They came with $250.”

She described herself as having “adjusted fairly quickly and fairly well” to life in the United States.

However, owing to her early inability to fit in, the Bad Moms actor admitted that she “blocked out second grade completely”

“I cried every day,” she said. “I didn’t understand the people. I didn’t understand the language.”

In addition to Ashton Kutcher, Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively have shown their support for the Ukrainian migrants. During the present situation, the couple has decided to contribute $1 million to individuals who have been forced to escape their native nation. To share, the pair made a joint statement on social media. “In 48 hours, countless Ukrainians were forced to flee their homes to neighbouring countries. They need protection. @usaforunhcr is providing it. When you donate, we’ll match it up to $1,000,000, creating DOUBLE the support.”

Other celebrities have also used social media to share crucial resource links.
