Archie Calls Prince Charles ‘Pa’ in Zoom Call with Harry and Meghan

had not seen his youngest grandson, Harrison, in person for many months, as the young royal lives with his parents, Harry and Meghan, in the US.

However, they remain connected through video calls.

In a recent royal Zoom call, called his grandfather “Pa,” leaving Charles apparently delighted with the sweet gesture of the young royal, according to The Sun.

The report states that and his wife Meghan held a video chat with Harry's father and grandmother on the occasion of Harry's 36th birthday last week.

The couple's one-year-old son was also present for the virtual birthday celebrations and kept the royals engaged with his antics.

The little one even helped his father blow out his birthday candles on the cake Meghan had baked at home.

Trending:

According to the publication's source, “It was very pleasant.

Harry told the family how much he missed them.

Meghan baked a cake and Harry blew out candles.”

They added that the youngest royal then stepped in to help his dad and somewhat stole the show.

Archie made them laugh when he also blew the candles out.

In a heartwarming moment during the call, the 16-month-old delighted the Prince of Wales by calling him “Pa,” the nickname Harry also often used to call his father.

It definitely sounds like Prince Charles' youngest grandson is increasingly becoming quite the chatterbox as he grows up.

Earlier this year, a source commented that Archie is saying a few words, like “dada,” “mama,” “book,” and “dog.”

They also shared that he loves playing hide-and-seek and using building blocks.

Some reports also say that the Queen is an especially big fan of Harry and Meghan's only child, and that she loves checking in with the family through video calls, and commented on the tot's red streak of hair.

“Pa” is a term of endearment often used by Harry to refer to his father in official conversations or speeches.

In an interview for BBC Radio 4's Today in 2017, Harry chatted to his proud dad about mental health, and what the world got was a closer look at their unique father-son relationship.

At the end of the chat, Harry thanked his father by using the special moniker, “Pa.”

In a speech at the Prince of Wales' 70th birthday patronage celebration at Buckingham Palace, Harry honoured his father and the work Prince Charles has done with various charities throughout the UK.

Harry said, “Pa, I was again struck by the range and diversity of the work which you are involved with.”

The speech made Charles unable to hide his excitement at that moment.

Prince Charles has long been known to not only love his sons William and Harry but also be very close to his four grandchildren, George, Charlotte, Louis, and youngest Archie.

On multiple occasions over the years, Charles has spoken lovingly about his grandchildren while out on royal engagements.

Since the UK has been in lockdown, Charles told Sky News earlier this year how much he had missed his grandchildren.

He said, “Well, I haven't seen my father for a long time.

He's going to be 99 next week, so yes, or my grandchildren or anything.

I've been doing the FaceTime, is all very well but.”

Speaking about being separated from his family, he said, “Well, it's terribly sad, let alone one's friends.

But fortunately at least you can speak to them on telephones and occasionally do this sort of thing.

But it isn't the same, is it?

You really want to give people a hug.”

Earlier this year, Charles' son Harry and wife Meghan said goodbye to senior royal life and the couple relocated to the US with son Archie.

The Sussexes flew to the States before the borders closed due to the global pandemic, and they have now purchased a family home near Santa Barbara, California.

Given that Harry and Meghan are known to be very family-oriented, this sounds like the perfect way for Harry to celebrate turning 36.

Despite being physically separated, the family remains connected through video calls and sweet moments like Archie calling his grandfather “Pa” show that distance doesn't diminish the love between them.
