Since then, they have welcomed three children and have been open about their personal lives, including the realities of motherhood.
Their wedding was one of the biggest royal events of our time, and it's still being talked about today.
From the iconic wedding dress worn by the Duchess to the royal tradition she broke, and how William knew he wanted to marry her in the first place, people are still interested in the finer details of their special day.
The couple exchanged their vows in front of an estimated audience of 26 million people in the UK and almost 2 billion globally.

This staggering number is sure to make anyone nervous as they walk down the aisle.
However, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have continued to go strong after a decade of marriage.
Unearthed reports reveal that the Duchess of Cambridge surprised the monarch on the day of her nuptials.
According to a throwback report by People magazine, Kate opted to do her own makeup after a series of private lessons with Arabella Preston.
Wedding planner Mark Namiku revealed that Kate had about three or four lessons with Arabella at her private flat in Chelsea and also went privately to Clarence House.
Arabella was supposed to be coming on the day as well, but now she isn't because Kate's comfortable and confident in doing it herself.
On her wedding day, Kate relied on her favourite smoky-eyed look, opting for her trusty coal, despite criticism that it would be too harsh for the day.
She then went for a soft pink on her cheeks and lips.
Kate also received a manicure by Marina Sandoval from the Jo Hansford Salon in Mayfair, picking the blush tones of Bourgeois's Rose Lounge and Essie's Allure.
According to the Queen's right-hand woman and long-term dressmaker, Angela Kelly, Her Majesty also does her own makeup every day except for one special annual occasion, the recording of her famous Christmas speech.
In her 2016 tell-all book, The Other Side of the Coin, The Queen, The Dresser and the Wardrobe, Ms Kelly wrote that on that specific day, she books professional TV makeup artist Marilyn Witte to come to the palace to attend to the Queen's makeup and get her ready for her camera close-up.
Despite being a royal, Kate's informal character and desire to keep some normality in her life led her to do her own makeup on her big day.
This is just one of the many reasons why the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are loved by so many.
As they celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary, we wish them all the happiness and love in the world.
