Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Join Earl and Countess of Wessex at Commonwealth Games

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were spotted exchanging warm greetings with the Earl and Countess of Wessex, along with their children Lady Louise Windsor and Viscount Severn, at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

The couple brought along , who was seen enjoying cheering for the swimmers.

The royal family headed to the Sandwell Aquatic Centre in Birmingham to watch the competitions on Tuesday afternoon.

As they made their way to their seats in the stands, they were reunited with the family of the Earl and Countess of Wessex.

Catherine looked delighted as she greeted each member with a double kiss on the cheek, while William walked behind, also greeting his aunt, uncle, and young cousins.

Lady Louise and her mother were thrilled to see their cousin Catherine and were pictured beaming as she embraced them.

The Queen's youngest granddaughter, Lady Louise, 18, looked impressive in a white shirt, floral skirt, and tan leather handbag as she greeted the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Meanwhile, Catherine, who wore her brunette tresses down and in curls, greeted James, Viscount 7, 14, Sophie Wessex, 57, Lady Louise Windsor, and Prince Edward, 58.

Catherine looked effortlessly elegant in an old favorite chic white suit from Alexander McQueen, which she first wore during her and 's Caribbean tour in Jamaica in March.

She then sported the outfit again to attend a series of engagements to mark Windrush Day in London.

Sitting with her daughter, , the Duchess appeared to be chatting with an official at the event.

Princess Charlotte, 7, looked adorable in a black and white striped dress with a white-filled collar from Rachel Riley paired with white sandals.

She wore her hair in pigtails as she sat just in front of the Wessexes with her father, squinting her eyes to make out something on the big screen.

William, Catherine, and Charlotte sat in front of the Wessexes to watch the men's 1,500 meters freestyle swimming race on the fifth day of the Commonwealth Games.

The Wessexes returned to the Aquatic Centre after sitting through a busy day on Monday to see the competition taking place in the pool on day two of their consecutive attendance there.

Lady Louise Windsor followed in her mother's footsteps for the fourth day of the Games, borrowing a £985 Peter Pelotto dress from her mother, Sophie Wessex.
