Duchess Catherine Leaves Windsor Castle After Queen’s Passing
The world mourns the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, who died peacefully at Balmoral on Thursday 8th September.
Her passing has been felt by the entire nation, including the royal family.
Duchess Catherine was seen leaving Windsor Castle, hiding her emotions behind dark sunglasses.

On Friday, a sombre Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge was spotted in Berkshire picking up her children from their new school in Lambrook.

Prince William, now Duke of Cornwall and Cambridge, left Balmoral this afternoon and is travelling back to Windsor to be with his wife Catherine and their children ahead of the accession council tomorrow, where his father will be officially proclaimed King.

King Charles is also expected to make his oldest son William the Prince of Wales, the title traditionally handed to the heir to the throne.
If this happens, Catherine will be able to use the title Princess of Wales, a title previously held by her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
