Harry and Meghan’s £50,000 Wedding Cake Unveiled
The world has been eagerly awaiting a glimpse of Harry and Meghan's wedding cake, and it's finally been revealed.
The stunning £50,000 creation was designed by an East London baker and is said to be priced at around £80 per slice.
Kensington Palace posted an image of the cake on Twitter, along with a statement detailing the ingredients of this delectable dessert.
The cake, which will be served at the reception, was designed by Claire Tack and features elderflower syrup made from the estate's own elderflower trees at the Queen's residence in Sandringham.
The light sponge cake was uniquely formulated for the couple, and a filling made from mouth-watering lemon curd and elderflower buttercream ties all the elements together.
Decorated with Swiss meringue buttercream and 150 fresh flowers, mostly British and in season, including peonies and roses, the cake is a true masterpiece.
