“Harry and Meghan’s Hypocrisy on Non-Royal Tour Leaves Bitter Taste”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have once again been criticized for their recent non-royal tour of New York.

Writer Angela Levin, who authored “Harry, a Biography of a Prince,” has expressed her dismay at the couple's apparent hypocrisy and arrogance during their visit.

In an article for The Sun, Levin described the three-day tour as a “woke alternative” to the UK's royal family.

She accused the couple of pushing for people to abandon the royal family and follow them instead, claiming that they understand young people and the issues that matter.

Levin also criticized the couple's appearance at the Global Citizen concert, describing it as “nauseating.”

She claimed that Harry acted like a cheerleader, whipping up the crowd with shouts of “come on, we want this,” while Meghan chipped in with “it's got to happen.”

Levin argued that the couple are not experts on Covid-19 or climate change, making their comments superficial and vacuous.

Furthermore, Levin pointed out the couple's hypocrisy regarding climate change.

Despite attending a concert that was about climate change among other issues, they traveled 2,800 miles in a private plane and used three gas-guzzling SUVs with a patrol of security personnel.

Levin argued that the couple expects everyone else to save the planet while they do the exact opposite.

Levin also criticized Meghan's appearance at a run-down school in Harlem, where she wore a £5,600 outfit and was dripping in diamonds.

She argued that it was insensitive and not the right thing to do, especially when promoting her book “The Bench,” which is written for three or four-year-olds and not suitable for the 11-year-old children at the school.

Royal expert Natalie Oliveri also weighed in on the couple's tour, arguing that some people have accused them of conducting a royal-esque tour without representing the Queen as senior royals.

Oliveri noted that the criticism is based on Meghan and Harry's ability to meet with important people, including the New York mayor.

She argued that some people have labeled the tour as an embarrassment because the couple appeared to ditch their responsibilities as senior royals.

However, it seems that the couple may be returning to royal working duties.

This is due to who they met and where they visited during their trip to New York.

They started their visit by paying their respects at the One World Trade Center and the 9-11 memorial, where they met with the New York mayor.

They then visited the United Nations and a school in Harlem, where Meghan read chapters from her book “The Bench” and Harry sat in the front row.

The culmination of their visit was attending the Global Citizen Live concert in Central Park, where they called for equal access to the coronavirus vaccine.

Despite the backlash, it seems that the couple is still making headlines and sparking discussions wherever they go.
