Kate Middleton Wows in Sequined Emerald Gown at Royal Variety Performance
The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, stole the show at the Royal Variety Performance held at the London Palladium Theatre on Thursday night.
She looked stunning in a sequined emerald gown with statement shoulder pads by one of her favourite designers, Jenny Packham.
This was a repeat outfit for Kate, who wore the same dress during her and Prince William's tour of Pakistan in 2019.
Kate's soft curl hairstyle was a complete break from her signature straight blowout, and she received compliments from comedian Alan Carr, who hosted the event.
“You look absolutely beautiful,” he told her as he greeted her and her husband.
Prince William wore a low-key blue velvet tuxedo for the evening.

The televised event, which is usually attended by senior members of the Royal Family, attracted A-list guests such as Sir Rod Stewart, James Blunt, and Ed Sheeran.
This year's Royal Variety Performance featured performances by the cast of Matilda the Musical, UK pop star Anne-Marie, and members of Cirque du Soleil.
The Royal Variety Performance is held to raise money for the Royal Variety Charity, of which Queen Elizabeth is the life patron.
This year, funds will go towards those in the entertainment industry who are in need of help.
Although Her Majesty skipped the star-studded event, she sent a message expressing her best wishes for the evening.
Kate and William walked the red carpet and rubbed shoulders with several guests and performers at the event.
However, the glamorous Duchess may well have stolen the show.
In other news, Royal expert Kinsey Schofield urged Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to grow up, adding that it's highly unlikely they will receive an invitation to visit Prince William and Kate Middleton while they are in the US.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are set to visit the United States for the Earthshot Prize Awards, hosted in Boston in December.
“I think it's highly unlikely that the Sussexes will be invited to see the Cambridges on their trip to Boston,” said the royal commentator.
Speaking about the visit, Ms Schofield said, “William and Catherine are really focused on the future of the monarchy and probably believe that Harry and Meghan have a lot of growing up to do before they will consider a sit-down.”
She added that the Cambridges would also want to keep the focus on the Earthshot Prize, and any contact with the Sussexes risks leaks to media that would divert attention away from the cause.
Royal expert Neil Sean agreed with Ms Schofield, saying that the Cambridges will have a packed schedule.
While he said the US trip would be an ideal time to meet with Harry and Meghan, he claimed it will not be possible.
The Royal Family has been making headlines recently, with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Oprah interview causing a stir earlier this year.
The couple has since moved to the US and started new ventures, while the rest of the family has continued with their royal duties.
