He will discuss misinformation during the re-Wired summit on November 9.

The Duke of Sussex will join misinformation experts for a session titled “The Internet Lie Machine,” which will examine the real cost of a lie on the Internet to ourselves, our communities, and our societies.

As social media algorithms reward shock value over reality, as the line between fact and fiction weakens every day, as media propaganda and online hatred run rampant, the panel will examine how we got here, and, perhaps more importantly, how we can get out of this mess.

Prince Harry and Meghan's Busy Week Ahead

Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, have a busy week ahead of them as both royals' schedules are filled with solo plans.

The Duke of Sussex will be kissing his wife and their two children, Archie, 2, and Lilibet, 5 months, goodbye as he jets off to New York City alone.

Once he arrives in Manhattan, Harry will head to Wired's first reWired event on Tuesday, where he'll be speaking as an expert.

His session is titled “The Internet Lie Machine” and will address the question, “What is the real cost of a lie on the Internet, to ourselves, our communities, our societies?”

On the following day, Harry is slated to attend the Intrepid Valor Awards, where he will present five awards to U.S. service members and their families.

He will appear alongside the likes of Jon Bon Jovi at the event, but the royal won't be starstruck when he catches up with the rocker, as they've met before.

The pair teamed up before the pandemic to record the charity single “Unbroken” ahead of the 2020 Invictus Games, which have been delayed twice due to COVID-19.

Bon Jovi will be receiving an award of his own at the event on Wednesday, though it's unclear if Harry will be the one presenting it.

This will be the Duke's first appearance at a military event in the U.S., after being stripped of some of his own honorary military titles back home in the U.K. Harry has previously spoken about how much his own time in the British Armed Forces meant to him and has been vocal about supportive service men and women.
