Kate Middleton’s Incredible Piano Display and Tom Walker’s Top-Secret Rehearsals

Tom Walker has finally broken his silence on his collaboration with the Duchess of Cambridge, , during the Royal Carols together at Christmas service.

The two talented musicians collaborated on the programme which aired on December 24, paying tribute to inspirational people who served their communities during the pandemic.

Tom was singing his track for those who can't be here with Kate playing the piano in the background.

During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Tom revealed that he had top-secret rehearsals with Kate before the big night.

“She's fantastic, a really talented musician.

We had a top-secret rehearsal to make sure we were both comfortable with playing with each other, it was at Metropolis Studios,” he explained.

Their collaboration came after Tom met Kate at a charity event in 2021.

He was approached to play for the Carol service and Kate suggested playing the piano as music gave her a lot of comfort during the lockdowns.

Since the festive programme aired, Tom's single has shot up the charts, and he has opened up about how his project with the Duchess happened.

“It was so well received, I probably owe her royalties now.

She sent me a letter thanking me for the opportunity but it should be me thanking her.

The song has jumped 57 places in the charts.

It was a wonderful experience and she was so warm.

She made the effort to thank all the musicians but it was us who felt so grateful to be part of something so special.”

The audience as well as viewers at home were stunned to witness the Duchess' hidden talent.

People immediately took to Twitter during the performance to praise the Royal.

One wrote, “Future Queen playing for Tom Walker.

Absolutely amazing,” while another said, “Watching Catherine play the piano.

One very cool Queen in waiting.”

A third wrote, “Is there no end to this lovely lady's talents?

Watching Royal Carols at Christmas on ITV and Kate is accompanying Tom Baker on the piano.”

In other news, had confided in a number of friends about her hopes for a friendship with Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge but was left disappointed as the two sisters-in-law were very different people.

According to the new Channel 5 documentary Meghan at 40, had initially been keen to develop a close friendship with her sister-in-law Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge.

However, Meghan was left feeling a bit rebuffed as a rift began to develop between the two, due to their very different approaches to Royal work.

Royal expert Emily Andrews said, “Here were two women, both outsiders, marrying into the Royal family, living on the same complex at Kensington Palace, of course, they'd be besties.

And actually, that's what Meghan felt, she confided in a number of her friends that she hoped Kate would help her adjust to Royal life but the cracks started to show pretty early on.

Behind the scenes, Meghan was feeling a bit rebuffed, I'm not sure whether Kate ever realised.”

William had said to Harry before they got engaged, “No need to rush this, you've got all the time in the world, you don't know her that well, and I think that set the seeds.”

Tom Quinn, the author of Kensington Palace, an intimate memoir said, “Meghan and Kate initially got on very well but they are very, very different.

Kate wants to do things quietly, she wants to obey the rules, she takes advice, Meghan is a much more strident character who wanted to do things her way so this caused a rift.”

Kate first met Meghan at Kensington Palace in January 2017 when she was 's then-girlfriend.

Following their engagement that November, invited Meghan to spend Christmas with the Royal Family at Sandringham.

In conclusion, Tom Walker's collaboration with the Duchess of Cambridge was a wonderful experience and their top-secret rehearsals paid off.

The audience and viewers at home were amazed by Kate's hidden talent on the piano.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle's hopes for a friendship with Kate were dashed due to their different approaches to Royal work.
