Meghan Markle: The Woman Set to Modernize the British Royal Family
The royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is an event that many Britons are eagerly anticipating.
Meghan, a former actress from Los Angeles, is a very different kind of royal, coming from a hard-working background.
She worked her way up in Hollywood, starting as a calligrapher and briefcase girl on the US version of Deal or No Deal before landing a role in legal drama Suits.
However, it was her passion for humanitarian work that won Prince Harry's heart.
Meghan's royal preparation has been extensive, but according to royal butler Grant Harrold, she has had more of a struggle than Kate Middleton to adapt to royal life.
Harrold, who has worked as a royal butler to various members of the royal family including HRH Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke of Cambridge, and Prince Harry, believes that Meghan will secure the future of the royals.

Harrold told Express UK, “She'll bring her own contribution, and I think she's only going to secure their future.”
He also revealed that Meghan's far more personable character could warm the public to the royal family.
It is suggested by many that the actress's attitude could modernize the so-called firm.
Being from the United States may well be a part of that, according to Harrold.
He said, “You go over to the States; everyone is so friendly, but over here we're a bit stiff upper lip, we're Brits, but she's going to bring a new side to it.
She's always got a smile and adorable giggle.
40 to 50 years ago, you wouldn't have had a royal giggle like that.
I think she'll find royal life quite easy; I think she'll have her take on it.”
Meghan's background is very different from that of previous royal brides.
She grew up in California and has a degree in theatre and international relations.
