Meghan Markle’s Claims Disputed by Biographer
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, made headlines when she and Prince Harry sat down with Oprah Winfrey for a primetime special several months ago.
During the interview, Meghan made claims about her time as a senior royal, including not being allowed to leave the palace for months.
However, her biographer, Andrew Morton, has disputed this claim.
One of the things Meghan mentioned during the interview was that she was not allowed to do much, including leaving the palace to see her friends.
She claimed that people in the firm would tell her what she could and couldn't do, even telling her not to go out to lunch with her friends because she was oversaturated in the media.
Meghan said that she hadn't left the house in months and felt lonely.

Despite these claims, Morton revealed that Meghan's statement about being kept inside the palace like a royal prisoner is false.
According to him, she was seen out on numerous occasions, including dinner and lunch appointments in Notting Hill, beauty treatments in Kensington, and various shopping trips.
Although she was snapped by paparazzi, British newspapers declined to buy photographs of these excursions.
Morton added that Meghan felt silenced and trapped by the system, with her passport, driver's license, and keys taken away from her as though she were entering an open prison.
However, this did not stop her from making numerous speeches on female empowerment, equality, and other issues while traveling around the world on private and commercial aircraft.
Morton, who also wrote Princess Diana's explosive best-selling biography, Diana: Her True Story, after receiving audio recordings from the princess detailing her life behind palace walls, updated his book Megan: A Hollywood Princess with this new information.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently weighing whether or not to attend a party in honor of Princess Diana, which is set to take place on Tuesday.
The party was initially planned for the unveiling of the Princess Diana statue, and as many as 100 guests, including Prince William and Elton John, are expected to attend.
Meanwhile, a book claims that Harry looked on the verge of tears after he and Meghan were snubbed at their last appearance as senior royals.
Their last duty was to attend a Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey alongside the likes of the Queen, Prince William, and the Duchess of Cambridge.
However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not included in the entrance procession, and it is claimed that the snub was set out for all to see.
In conclusion, while Meghan Markle made claims about her time as a senior royal, her biographer has disputed some of these claims.
