Meghan Markle’s Clever Trick to Prevent Blisters

has been making waves since marrying into the royal family, attending formal engagements and relaxed royal celebrations while always looking impeccable.

However, eagle-eyed fashion fans have noticed something off about her otherwise perfect style – her shoes.

Many believe that her shoes are actually too big for her.

But it turns out that this might be a well-thought-out plan and a very clever little trick.

According to fashion expert Harriet Davey, wearing shoes that are a size too big can actually prevent blisters.

Davey told The Sun, “There's nothing worse than uncomfortable shoes, we've all been there on a night out, and when celebs like Meghan are wearing heels for a long period of time their feet can often swell up.

Trending:

The swelling can cause blisters and in the long run bunions.”

Another possible reason for Markle's choice of shoes is that she might be in between sizes.

She might decide to go up rather than down, as going down a size can cause agonizing blisters.

Lauren Goodwin-Grafton, fashion stylist for The Mirror's Notebook magazine, said, “It might also be because she's in between shoe sizes.”

However, according to Lauren, there's another reason why celebrities tend to wear shoes that are too big on the red carpet.

A lot of the time, our favorite stars don't wear their own shoes for big events, and instead borrow from their favorite designers.

Lauren said, “Designers loan to most celebs for events so they know they will get publicity.

Sample sizes generally are size 7 or sometimes 4.

Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin, Brian Atwood, Gina, etc.

Here's a stylist trick of the trade we use, stuffing the toes with tissue to make the shoes fit.”

Markle's shoe choices have been a topic of discussion since she became a member of the royal family.
