Meghan Markle’s Envy and Catherine’s Grace: Contrasting Reactions During the Queen’s Procession

The Queen's procession at Westminster Hall was a somber event, but it also highlighted the stark differences between two members of the royal family.

and Catherine, the Prince of Wales, were seen next to each other during the service, and their reactions could not have been more different.

Catherine appeared emotional during the service, reflecting the solemnity of the occasion.

In contrast, Meghan was spotted staring enviously at Catherine because she hates not being the center of attention.

It was clear that Meghan hates seeing and knowing Catherine will always go before her.

The pair have not interacted for two years following Meghan and Harry's move to the US.

Trending:

Catherine looked absolutely devastated with grief, while Meghan didn't seem nearly as sad.

She had plastered makeup all over her face, and wore a neutral, careless expression.

It was almost as if she needed to go back to acting class.

After all the controversy she's put Harry's family through, she should at least make an effort to look like she's grieving.

It was bizarre that she was the only one who clearly wasn't looking where everyone else was, and that she was looking into the camera.

Catherine has been rewarded for her hard work, but being a royal and working hard has nothing to do with being given a reward.

When William became the Prince of Wales, it was a bigger job than being the Duke of Cambridge.

Though some things would remain the same, he could still champion his causes, as can Catherine.

Catherine's dedication speaks volumes to so many.

She's the embodiment of what Diana was all about.

She's not her late mother-in-law and doesn't try to be her.

A somber Princess Catherine was a vision of ethereal grace, sporting an ebony coat dress and a traditional mourning veil, crafted from black netting for the occasion.

Holding her composure, the mother of three looked effortlessly elegant in the all-black ensemble, adhering to royal mourning protocol.

Princess Catherine's large brooch was composed of three leaves, each of which were outlined in yellow gold.

A sizable made pearl was positioned at the center of each leaf, which were finished with a scattering of small diamonds.

The brooch was a sweet nod to her husband 's late grandmother.

The rarely seen accessory was previously worn by the Queen during her visit to South Korea in 1999.

According to royal expert Daniela Elsa, one detail in Catherine and 's latest outing together reveals just how different their lives have become.

She quoted saying, as the party arrived at the 900-year-old building, it became obvious that the Princess of Wales had accessorized her outfit with an accessory she only occasionally wears, namely a brooch, in this instance a huge walloping pearl and diamond brooch, given to her by her majesty and this is so large it verges on comical.

Meghan too was pulling out the touching tribute card, wearing the discreet pearl and diamond earrings that she was given by the Queen in 2018.

It's impossible not to wonder what it must feel like for Meghan to have to contend with this situation right now, especially when she spied the diamond and pearl whopper pinned onto Catherine's black coat dress.

It's not as if they can avoid facing the prickly issue of precedence, made even more abject by their quitting this week.

For example, take the Sophie situation.

Prior to Megxit, Meghan outranked Sophie, Countess of Wessex, who is married to Prince Edward XIII in line to the throne.

Of those thwarted theatre and TV dreams, however for the ceremony at Westminster Hall, it was the Duchess, no longer a frontline Windsor, who was plonked at the end of the row of royal spouses.

The messy business of hierarchy is something that according to reports both Harry and Meghan struggled with.
