Meghan Markle’s “Power of Women” Event in Indianapolis
Meghan Markle, the former Duchess of Sussex, has been criticized for holding a speaking engagement at a Marriott in Indianapolis during winter.
The event was called “Power of Women” and was billed as an evening with Meghan.
However, social media users were quick to call out the event, with one person writing that it was not a PR win for the Sussexes.
Another person commented that Meghan was a woman of power who needed to use a title to get any attention, a title given to her by her husband's family, whom she has tried to vilify and damage.
The event happened just as the real royals, Prince William and Kate Middleton, headed off to the US to meet with actual power, President Joe Biden.
Some people noted that Meghan's power event coincided with the royal visit, suggesting that she did not want to be upstaged.

Unfortunately, guests were banned from taking any pictures at the event, but Meghan's friend Omid Scobie tweeted lots, including tables with framed pictures of Meghan.
It seems like the audience and the sugars spent more time with those bubble wrap photos of Meghan than they did watching her speak.
According to YouTube Apedina, who interviewed women as they were leaving the event, the main message of Meghan's talk was to use your voice.
This was apparently a deeply spiritual experience for Meghan's cult followers, who probably thought Fifty Shades of Grey was a literary masterpiece.
Markle was spotted boarding a private jet at the cult's private hangar after the speaking engagement at the Marriott in downtown Indianapolis.
As one would expect from someone who managed to become persona non grata with the royal family, Markle showed up just 20 minutes before the start of the event.
Once she was there, Markle was guarded by an enormous security team, and no media was allowed anywhere near the event.
After enlightening her audience on how difficult life is, Markle headed back on that plane to spew more of those carbon emissions she claims to be fighting.
Markle and her husband continue to be hypocrites of the highest order.
The two came under fire in 2019 for using private jets four times in just 11 days.
Two years later, they made their net-zero proclamation.
She's cranking carbon dioxide into the air for a longer period than she spent in Indianapolis.
It's a real slap in the face to the people of Indianapolis who welcomed her.
She couldn't even be bothered to hang in their city for longer than the absolute minimum amount of time necessary.
Meghan Markle's “Power of Women” event was not well-received by social media users, who criticized her for using her title to gain attention and for leaving the city so quickly.
Despite her efforts to become a woman of power, many people believe that Meghan is floundering and that no one wants to hear from her anymore.
