Meghan Markle’s relative is allegedly blackmailing her for 1.5 million dollars, threatening to release her secrets, home videos, and intimate photos if she doesn’t pay up.

The National Enquirer reports that the unnamed relative has also threatened , telling him that if he wants to protect his wife, he needs to pay the money.

However, it is unlikely that would agree to pay such a large sum of money without consulting his lawyers or the authorities.

Before joining the royal family, Prince Harry was reportedly aware of Markle's dark past, but he tried to sweep all negative information about the Duchess of Sussex under the rug.

According to a source, Markle's relatives have been very vocal about their frustrations with her, and her dad, Thomas Markle Sr., and half-siblings have been encouraging her to make amends.

In other news, extracts from Tom Bower's new book, Revenge, Megan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors, claim that Prince Harry knew he had betrayed his family while he was at his grandfather's funeral.

As the media focused on the Queen's grief, Prince Harry allegedly knew that just a month later, he would betray the royal family.

During the funeral procession, many watched for signs of rapprochement between Prince Harry and his brother, .

A sideways glance towards the Duke of Cambridge was interpreted as a sign of his unease.

However, no one grasped the truth about Harry's nervousness.

In four weeks' time, his Apple TV series about mental health would be broadcast, and transmission had been delayed until after the funeral.

As the media analysed the royals in their time of grief, 94-year-old 's grief was concealed behind her black mask.

Princes Charles and William were visibly upset, or at the very least tense.

However, according to Mr. Bower, only Prince Harry's demeanour defied accurate reporting.

Mr. Bower says that as the Duke of Sussex left the chapel, tapping the Order of Service against his thigh, he looked clearly impatient and claims the prince wanted to return to California as fast as possible.

Prince Harry knew that he had betrayed his whole family, according to Mr. Bower.

A month later, Buckingham Palace realised that the Sussexes were out of control when, on May 14, Apple TV released The Me You Can't See, according to Mr. Bower.

The show explores mental health issues and includes appearances by several celebrities, including Prince Harry himself.

On the show, Prince Harry slammed the royal family, saying, “I've seen behind the curtain, I've seen the business model and seen how this whole thing works and I don't want to be part of this.”

He added, “It's the job, right?

Grin and bear it.

Get on with it.”

Mr. Bower said the show was a broadside to the firm, and that the rift between the Windsors and Prince Harry was widening.

An excerpt from his book reads, “In it Harry denounced William, whom he had previously praised as the only person he could trust, and dishonoured Charles, whom he had previously thanked for being so kind, for causing a cycle of genetic pain.

He had even criticised the Queen, despite saying she was hugely admired.

All were cast as villains responsible for his cycles of suffering and unresolved anger.”

At the end of the day, Prince Harry is allegedly feeling troubled over everything that's come out about his wife.

It doesn't bear thinking about what's still untold, and the sordid secrets being held over him if he doesn't pay, the source said.

How low does someone have to be to blackmail a prince and betray your own flesh and blood?

The Duchess of Sussex has had a tumultuous relationship with her family, and the latest revelations have only added fuel to the fire.

It remains to be seen how this will affect her relationship with Prince Harry and the royal family in the long term.
