Meghan Markle’s Supervet Friend Noel Fitzpatrick Reveals Why He Left Royal Wedding Early

Noel Fitzpatrick, the Irish-born Supervet, who treated 's beagle Guy after it broke two legs shortly after her engagement to , revealed why he left the royal wedding early back in 2018.

Although he felt honored to have been invited, he couldn't help but feel slightly out of place and overwhelmed by the surreal surroundings of the nuptials.

Speaking to the Daily Mail last year, Noel shared his thoughts on the event.

“There were canapes.

It was a magnificent occasion and also incredibly humbling.

I was thinking, what is a farmer's son doing here?

What am I doing here?

I was feeling imposter syndrome.

I felt truly honored, but anyway, I decided to leave.”

The uncomfortable footwear had been the source of his anguish and had eventually forced him to exit the celebrations early.

“I thought, I don't actually know anybody.

I'm really lucky to have seen this magical thing and I am very happy for Harry and Meghan—because they are wonderful people, but my shoes are killing me.

I also thought this is all a bit overwhelming.

So I asked a lady if she could show me the door out of the castle.”

Once he was back on the streets of Windsor, he suddenly realized he did not know exactly where he was staying and spent two hours wandering the streets in just his socks.

Eventually, he managed to find his way back to his lodgings and began to soak his sore feet in salt water in a bidet.

Fitzpatrick rose to fame on the Channel 4 TV show The Supervet and is known for his bionic surgery techniques.

He became pals with the former Suits star after her pet beagle was injured just days after the Royal Family announced her engagement to the British Prince.

The dog was so badly injured that they called in the help of Noel.

Markle's beagle has been described as her absolute world and was flown over from Toronto to the United Kingdom early in 2017.

Unfortunately, before departing to the UK, the actress had to say goodbye to her other dog, a Labrador Shepherd cross, called Bogard, who was deemed too old to fly.

According to the same publication, Markle was distraught following the dog's accident.

was spotted accompanying Meghan to visit her dog at Noel's clinic, who managed to patch him right up.

Since then, the Sussex couple has stepped down as senior royals and are now living in Montecito, Los Angeles, with their son Harrison Mountbatten in the United States.

Meghan is yet to return to the UK since ending her royal duties at the beginning of 2020.

While Prince Harry recently flew home to attend his grandfather Prince Philip's funeral at Windsor Castle back in April, he is now back in the States.

Noel Fitzpatrick's friendship with has been a heartwarming story that highlights the importance of animal welfare and the power of friendship.

Despite feeling out of place at the royal wedding, he still cherishes the memory and the honor of being invited.
