Monarchy’s Fury: Sussex’s Relationship with Royals at an All-Time Low

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have once again found themselves at the center of controversy.

With less than two months until King Charles III's coronation, the couple has reportedly issued a list of demands in order to attend the historic occasion.

However, tensions between the Sussexes and the rest of the royals have reached an all-time high, leading to the revocation of their invitation to the event.

The bad blood between the Sussexes and the royal family has sparked numerous questions about how it will impact the upcoming coronation.

After all the destruction Harry and Meghan have left in their wake, one would think they'd be humbled enough to accept an invitation to such an important event.

Instead, they've reportedly issued ultimatums that have only served to escalate tensions.

Trending:

If the King wants his son and daughter-in-law to attend, their ultimatum reportedly included a private apology during a meeting with Charles and William, as well as a place on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

However, most people would understand if Harry and Meghan were excluded from the event altogether.

The royals have played their hand expertly, and freezing the Sussexes out may be the best approach to solving these disagreements now.

While some believe that a reconciliation between King Charles and is essential to the monarchy, the feud is sure to have an effect on the celebration where Charles will officially be crowned king.

In fact, a recent survey found that more than 1 in 5 Britons would be less likely to watch the coronation if Harry and Meghan were present, while 12% would definitely not want to watch with them there.

The Sussexes have until the coronation to remove their possessions from the grace and favor home originally granted to them by the Queen.

This is, without question, the final parting of the ways.

It will also be especially damaging to them as their contracts with Netflix and Spotify rely on their royal status.

However, they could try to hit back, as they reportedly signed a four-book deal with Random House.

The Sussexes have demanded discussions with senior royals and an apology for the way they were treated when they were senior working royals.

This could be a perfect base for Meghan to launch a political career in the future, as she could justly claim to have humbled the world's most highly-profiled monarchy.

However, it remains uncertain what the Sussexes plan for their future, but it is absolutely certain that it will exclude playing any part other than the most peripheral in royal life.

In conclusion, the feud between the Sussexes and the royal family has reached a boiling point, and tensions are at an all-time high.

The revocation of their invitation to King Charles III's coronation may be the final nail in the coffin for their relationship with the royals.

While some believe that a reconciliation is necessary, it remains to be seen if that will happen.

For now, it seems that the Sussexes will continue to live their lives apart from the royal family and the country they once called home.
