Pippa Middleton Welcomes Second Child, a Daughter Named Grace Elizabeth Jane Matthews
Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, has given birth to her second child with husband James Matthews.
The couple welcomed a daughter, Grace Elizabeth Jane Matthews, on Monday morning at 4.22am.
The newborn weighed 6lbs 7oz and both mother and baby are said to be doing well, according to a source who spoke to Hello!
magazine.
Pippa, who is 37 years old, is already a mother to two-year-old son Arthur, making the arrival of a daughter a welcome addition to the family.
The little girl's middle names, Elizabeth and Jane, are touching nods to her grandmothers, Carol Elizabeth Middleton and Jane Matthews.

The Daily Mail has even suggested that it may be a subtle acknowledgement of the family's royal ties through the Duchess of Cambridge.
Grace is the fifth grandchild for Carol Middleton and Michael Middleton, who are already grandparents to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
The trio are now cousins to Arthur and newborn Grace.
Rumours of Pippa's pregnancy first began swirling in December, with reports suggesting that the couple were expecting their second child in 2021.
A source told Page Six at the time, “It's fantastic news amid a difficult year.
The entire family is delighted.”
Mum Carol confirmed the good news two weeks ago, telling Good Housekeeping, “I hope to see more of my family than I could last year, including, of course, my new grandchild.
I want to run down the hills, climb the trees, and go through the tunnel at the playground.
As long as I'm able to, that's what I'll be doing.
I cook with them, I muck around dancing, we go on bike rides.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will no doubt be thrilled at the arrival of their baby niece.
Pippa is very close to her royal sister, and the two women lived together in London before Kate married Prince William.
They were also regularly seen on nights out together.
Pippa and James tied the knot at St Mark's Church on the Englefield Estate in Berkshire in 2017.
The following year, the couple welcomed their first child, Arthur, on October 15 in the Lindo wing of St Mary's Hospital, where Kate gave birth to all three of her children.
