Prince and Princess of Wales Opt for Local Bed and Breakfast and Treat Rescue Team to Pizzas

The Prince and Princess of Wales have been on a two-day trip to Wales, and they have been having an action-packed time.

However, what caught our attention was their unusual evening plans.

Instead of staying in a grand castle or luxurious palace, the royal couple opted for a local bed and breakfast.

How down-to-earth can they get?

But that’s not all.

The couple spent part of their evening at Dallae’s Rugby Club, where they treated the mountain rescue team to not just one, not two, but 22 pizzas.

That’s right; you heard it here first.

Trending:

Catherine and William ordered 12 pizzas from Little Dragon Pizza Van parked in the car park and then went on to order another 10 pizzas.

While waiting for their delicious pies, the couple was snapped in the midst of a sweet display of PDA.

Catherine was seen holding her hand up to William’s back.

Could they be any more adorable?

We think not.

The pizza flavors that the royal couple ordered included pepperoni, margherita, barbecue chicken, and goat cheese.

And who says that royalty can’t enjoy a good pizza?

It just goes to show that even the most regal of couples can let their hair down and indulge in some comfort food.

It’s not the first time that the pizza van owners, Peter Morris and Shannon Stokes, have fed the rescue team.

They previously gave the team free pizzas when they had to deal with an incident in an old quarry behind the pitch where a young boy dislocated his knee.

It’s great to see how a small gesture of kindness can lead to such a big show of appreciation.

Earlier in the day, the royal couple also tried their hand at abseiling down a cliff face.

Catherine couldn’t resist a cheeky quip before heading over the edge, telling William, “we’re not racing.”

The Prince of Wales then led the way over the edge after teasing Catherine, saying, “come on then, are we going to abseil or stand around talking?”

It’s great to see the couple having some fun and adventure together.

Catherine and William then took part in a mock rescue with Catherine venturing out with a team to save a pretend casualty who had slipped on rocks.

She was tasked with radioing in for help and medical supplies to her husband in the incident control van.

Catherine quipped, “have you got everything on the list?”

before laughing and adding, “it’s like calling him about the weekly shopping.”

The couple then helped carry the casualty back to the team’s van around 200 yards away.

Both William and Catherine have been heading to Wales on many engagements recently since they were handed new titles of Prince and Princess of Wales in the aftermath of the late Queen’s death.

However, it was previously reported that William will not have a lavish investiture ceremony as the Prince of Wales like his father King Charles had.

The royal source said, “right now, the Prince and Princess of Wales are focused on deepening the trust and respect of the people of Wales over time.”

It’s great to see the royal couple taking their responsibilities seriously, but also having some fun along the way.
