Prince George Attends Wimbledon in a Suit: Fans Express Concerns Over His Well-Being

, the eight-year-old son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, made his first ever appearance at Wimbledon on Sunday afternoon.

While the young prince watched the men's final alongside his parents, royal fans turned their attention to him and expressed concerns about his well-being.

To mark the special occasion, was dressed in a smart navy suit and tie, looking every bit like a little gentleman.

However, as temperatures soared to 30 degrees in southwest London, many wondered why the future king was dressed in a full suit.

The doting dad asked his son if their journey across South London was okay, to which the eight-year-old quietly replied, “it's too hot.”

Expressing concern, replied, “oh, you're hot are you?

It's very warm today.

It'll be fine.”

Catherine then added, “you have to feel for the people sitting in the bright sunshine.

We're quite often sitting in the shade.”

While Prince George remained on his absolute best behaviour throughout the entire match, some royal family followers couldn't help but worry about his well-being.

Over on Twitter, fans expressed sympathy for the young prince, sitting in a suit while temperatures in London were high.

One fan said, “poor Prince George wearing a suit to centre court on a hot day.”

Another added, “Prince George looks very smart, but could he not have been dressed more casually as it's too hot?”

A third wrote, “is Prince George not overheating in that cute little suit?”

However, others appreciated seeing the future king so dressed up for the royal box.

A fan said, “yes, it's hot for Prince George, but I like people smartly dressed.

The suit is a uniform, like a school uniform or military uniform.

When you wear it, you behave in a certain way.”

As Prince George starts to appear at public events in a royal capacity, the Duchess reportedly insists on him wearing a suit.

Referencing the royal's formal attire at the Euros final last year, expert Duncan Larcombe previously told OK, “she was showing George that being on duty requires a different approach.

He has to learn to don the royal armour.”

While some fans expressed concerns about Prince George's well-being, it's clear that the young prince was dressed for the occasion and behaved impeccably throughout the match.

As he grows up and takes on more royal duties, it's likely that we'll see him donning more formal attire, just like his parents and other members of the royal family.
