Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank Announce Pregnancy
Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank have announced that they are expecting their first child together.
The couple, who tied the knot at Windsor Castle in October 2018, will welcome their baby in early 2021.
The announcement was made on Friday morning by Buckingham Palace on the royal family's official Twitter account, accompanied by a sweet photo of the couple on their wedding day.
The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh are said to be delighted by the news that their granddaughter is pregnant.
In a statement released by the palace, it was revealed that ”The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr. and Mrs. George Brooksbank, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.”
Princess Eugenie herself also took to Instagram to share the news with her 1.2 million followers, posting an image of the couple holding onto a pair of baby shoes and another of the expectant parents beaming at the camera.

”Jack and I are so excited for early 2021,” she wrote.
Eugenie's mother, Sarah Ferguson, expressed her excitement over the news, saying, ”I am so excited by the news that Eugenie and Jack are expecting their first child.
Thrilled for them both and in my 60th year cannot wait to be a grandmother.
Welcoming a new baby into the York family is going to be a moment of profound joy.”
The baby will be the ninth great-grandchild for the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, following the arrival of their eighth, Archie Mountbattenmuenser, the son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Andrew and Sarah, Eugenie's parents, will become grandparents for the first time.
However, despite Eugenie being a princess, their child will not hold a title.
This is because their father has no title and the child will be born down a female line of the royal family.
They will be plain master or miss Brooksbank, unless the Queen decides to intervene and give Mr. Brooksbank an earldom or issue a letters patent amending the rules.
Eugenie and Jack, who currently live at Ivy Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace, met during a skiing vacation in Switzerland.
The couple has been basking in their post-wedding glow since their marriage in 2018.
During a pre-wedding interview for ITV, Eugenie described an immediate connection with Jack, but also quickly questioned his fashion choices.
”I thought, what a silly hat,” she said with a laugh of seeing Jack for the first time.
”And I thought, who's that?”
The news of Eugenie's pregnancy has been met with widespread congratulations and well wishes from fans and followers around the world.
As the couple prepares to welcome their first child, the world eagerly awaits the arrival of another member of the royal family.
