Sunrise Australia Hosts Laugh at Meghan Markle’s Reading of her Children’s Book

The hosts of Sunrise Australia couldn't contain their laughter as they watched a video of Meghan Markle reading her children's book, The Bench.

Meghan made an appearance on a children's YouTube story channel on Wednesday, during which she read her book.

She appeared to be in the garden of her $14 million mansion in Montecito, California.

However, her performance did not win over Sunrise hosts Karl Stefanovic, Alison Langdon, and Alex Cullen, who could be heard laughing as they played the video of the Duchess of Sussex live.

Meghan claimed that the book explores the special bond between father and son as seen through a mother's eyes.

Today team hosts played broadcasted the video and showed their bizarre reaction to the reading.

When the video of Meghan stops the team burst into laughter, claiming they were sorry.

Mr Stefanovic claimed it was really hard to keep a straight face during the video.

He then added, “The book was published earlier this year, not long after the birth of Lilibet Diana.”

Co-host Alison Langdon asked, “Why was it difficult to keep a straight face Alex, it's a lovely story.”

Mr Cullen sarcastically said, “It is a lovely story, it's fascinating, fulfilling me in many ways.”

Mr Stefanovic then quipped, “As we always say, Pump Pump,” referencing a line in Meghan's book.

And, the whole team of hosts then started singing Pump Up the Jam by Technotronic.

They each sing a line, in between bursts of laughter.

This is the second time that Meghan Markle has read a children's book on YouTube.

At the end of the clip, the Duchess of Sussex can be seen closing the book, explaining, “I hope you enjoyed the bench, I loved being able to share it with you.

And now I hope you're able to go and find your own special bench, or chair, or little quiet nook.

Just a place that means something to you that you can share with someone you love.

The hosts of Sunrise Australia are not the only ones who have criticized Meghan.

One reader wrote, “Her reading that ridiculous book currently has 5300 upvotes on YouTube and 7000 downvotes.

Has anyone else seen a video with more downvotes than upvotes?

Even books on that channel with 2 or 3 million views don't have so many downvotes, and Meghan only has 136,000 views.”

Furthermore, Meghan's political moves have received criticism from people.

One critic even called something she recently did insufferable.

Ever since Meghan joined the royal family, some onlookers have criticized her for not being politically neutral, as most royals are expected to be.

Meghan's recent letter to Congress brought forth more of this criticism.

Journalist Zoe Strimpel also called Meghan insufferable for being involved in politics when she lacks experience.

“The Duchess, however, has become an insufferable meddler in politics, just without the amazing dresses and headpieces,” Strimpel wrote in the Telegraph after comparing Meghan to Marie Antoinette.

Strimpel also added, “The Duchess seems particularly keen on forging a sort of first lady role for herself, the problem being that she lacks the genuinely impressive, relevant background of, say Michelle Obama, who, born into a poor family in Chicago, worked her way up to being a top lawyer, has years of policy experience, and is generally far more self-aware and sensitive in how she presents her campaigns.”

Additionally, she has abused the royal thing of being a British royal or, you know, working as a British royal because she's actually trying to tell another government what to do, author Angela Levin said.

The heading on the paper is The Office of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex-Sierre, which is definitely an abuse.
