Harry and Meghan will not be returning to the Royal Family as working members.
Buckingham Palace has announced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will no longer be working members of the Royal Family.
The pair will not “continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service” according to the Queen.
The palace added that Prince Harry and Meghan “remain much loved members of the family” in a statement.
“Service is universal” the couple responded, adding that they would continue to support the organizations they had served.
Last January, the duke and duchess announced that they would retire as “senior” royals and seek to become financially self-sufficient.
The couple, who now reside in California, officially stepped down in March, with the intention of reviewing the situation after a year.
