Sussexes not as popular in America as media indicates

Despite press acclaim, the American public regarded Meghan and Harry's interview as “ridiculous.”

It has been suggested that and Prince Harry are not as well-liked in the United States as their media coverage indicates.

In comparison to the UK, where the reception has been mixed, the media in the United States has been overwhelmingly favorable to the Sussexes.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's explosive conversation with last month has polarized sentiment in the United Kingdom.

Despite media exposure becoming somewhat more favorable to the Sussexes, one American wrote into a British royal podcast to clarify that the American public has found there are “lots of holes” in Meghan and Harry's narrative.

During a pandemic, their “poor little rich couple” story is “ridiculous.”

Kelly O'Keefe clarified that she was an American who had lived in London for a while.

She thanked the podcast for displaying all sides and debunking the royal couple's arguments.

When mentioning the expense of the Sussexes' security, she said she liked the analogy made on the podcast to George Clooney, who has to spend a lot of money every year to keep his family secure.

She claims that the majority of citizens she encounters in the United States are not as pro-Sussex as the media portrays.

“One thing I would like to point out ‒ I am an American but have spent some time living in London over the years ‒ is that you just said American press post-interview seems to be pro-Sussex,” Ms O'Keefe said.

“True to the press but not true to the American people.

“Most of the people I know and have spoken to here see so many holes in the interview and the whole ‘poor little rich couple' during a pandemic is ridiculous.
