Meghan Markle may SUE Piers Morgan

is planning behind the scenes to ‘fight back' against Piers Morgan, according to Angela Levin, a royal biographer, after his previous critical remarks towards the duchess.

In the aftermath of the Sussex's controversial interview with , Piers appeared on US TV shows and doubled down on the allegations that contributed to his departure from Good Morning Britain.

Since refusing to apologize for his disapproval of the former royal following her interview, Piers quit the ITV program he co-hosted with Susanna Reid last month.

During their explosive chat, Morgan said Meghan and Harry lied or exaggerated 17 times.

He maintained that he was correct not to believe the Duchess of Sussex during her interview, claiming that 17 of her assertions were false.

The royal correspondent believes it's ‘precipitous' to say that the Suits actress, who filed a formal complaint with ITV after Piers' critique on the breakfast show, won't retaliate in any way.

“I think it is a bit like a verbal boxing match,” Angela told Mike Graham on TalkRADIO.

“Each of them wins a round and the other one comes back and is more spiteful or more difficult or says more things.

“They have one thing in common and that is neither of them likes to lose out.

“So they carry on punching away.”

“I imagine that the lawyers are working out if there is a sentence or a verb or something that Piers said that they could jump on.

“So I think it is a bit precipitous actually to say she hasn't come back yet.

“She is a very determined woman, heavily pregnant or not. She will want to fight back.”

The Duchess of Sussex, 39, won a legal dispute against Associated Newspapers Ltd, the owner of the Mail on Sunday, earlier this year.

Piers could face a similar case shortly, according to Ms Levin, author of Harry: Conversations with the Prince.

Piers has reportedly declined to budge amid the anger aimed at him, according to Mirror Online.

He's been appearing on US television lately, first on Fox Nation's Tucker Carlson and then on Extra's Billy Bush last night.

After the revealing tell-all, he appeared to assert that he “doesn't believe” Meghan, who made claims of racism and said she felt suicidal whilst residing in the UK.

Since his dramatic departure from Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan has teased that career offers have been pouring in, insisting that he “won't be cancelled for long.”
