Kate will act as a “peacemaker” when Harry and William reunite at funeral
When the Duke of Cambridge and his younger brother meet on Saturday at the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral, they may be able to put an end to their rumored feud. Kate is thought to remain optimistic of reconciliation even after Harry and Meghan Markle's tumultuous interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 39, will serve as a kind of “peacemaker” to help Prince William and Prince Harry provide a “unified” front for the Queen at Prince Philip's funeral this weekend, according to the Daily Telegraph.
The Duchess of Cambridge talked to friends regarding Harry and William's supposed feud and said that she did not think it was too late to reconcile their differences.
Since Harry and his wife Meghan Markle stood down as senior royals over a year ago, the princes have not seen each other. Although tensions in the royal family are high, the newspaper stated that Middleton, who is close to both of the boys, is willing to step in if appropriate to reconcile the brothers.
On Saturday, William and Harry are expected to walk behind their grandfather's coffin together.

According to a royal specialist, the brothers will relive emotional moments when they recall walking behind their mother's coffin with the Duke of Edinburgh.
“They know it is not about them on Saturday – it is about honoring their grandfather's memory and supporting their grandmother,” a royal source told the publication. “I would be extremely surprised if that wasn't front and center of both their minds. They will be keen to spend time together as a family, in the same time zone for once.”
“The entire focus is on the Queen. No exceptions. A family unified .”
In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, the funeral will be a small gathering with stringent UK social-distancing laws.
Meghan Markle wished to be present at Prince Philip's funeral to show her support for Prince Harry.
Meghan wanted to be there to help Prince Harry, so she made every effort to go to the United Kingdom with him, according to E! News. A royal insider told the outlet that the Duchess of Sussex was able to “put all the family tension aside to be there with Harry,” despite the fact that the couple still doesn't get along with the royals, especially Prince William and Prince Charles. After the Sussexes' bombshell-filled interview with Oprah Winfrey last month, the funeral will be the first time Prince Harry sees his brother and father face to face.
In addition, Prince Harry would not want his pregnant wife to be “involved in stressful situations.”
