‘Meghan & Harry’ seen on set of new ‘Escaping the Palace’ movie

Two actors have made a royally excellent transition into and , as they were seen shooting for a film about the couple's “escape from the palace” for the first time.

Broadway actor Jordan Dean and actress and blogger Sydney Morton were seen in several different scenes for the network's latest royal-themed film, Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace.

The actors were seen shooting for the next installment of the lifetime scenes in Vancouver.

For some moments, Jordan Dean and stage actress Sydney Morton dressed up as the Sussexes and donned clothing similar to those worn by the couple on their 2019 tour of Africa.

Meghan and Harry conducted the now-infamous interviews to their journalist friend Tom Bradby on their Africa trip, in which they first expressed their dissatisfaction with their royal position.

The trip occurred only months before the pair declared their intention to leave the royal family and go to Los Angeles.

During that visit, Tom Bradby, an ITV journalist and close friend of the Sussexes, famously asked Meghan whether she was “OK,” to which she replied that “not many people” had asked that question, implying her unhappiness.

Many have speculated that the interviews, which were included in an ITV documentary on the Sussexes, were a foreshadowing of things to come, and it's possible that Lifetime included the trip for that purpose.

Jordan, who has Harry's natural red hair, looked handsome on set in a grey suit and white shirt.

Sydney, on the other hand, wore a trench-coat inspired dress with black high heels, similar to Meghan's appearance during her ActionAid visit to Johannesburg.

The new film aims to portray “what really happened inside the Palace that drove Harry and Meghan to leave everything behind in order to make a future for themselves and their son .”

It will ‘detail Meghan's growing isolation and sadness, their disappointment that “The Firm” was not defending them against the press's attacks and Harry's fear that history would repeat itself and he would not be able to protect his wife and son from the same forces that caused his mother's untimely death.'

The film will follow the couple after the birth of their son , now one, as they came to making the decision and what happened after the announcement.

According to TVLine, the made-for-TV film will depict a fictitious narrative of “the couple's controversial conscious uncoupling from the crown, after the birth of their son Archie.”

Other royals will appear in the movie, which will “examine the dynamics between Will and Harry, Kate and Meghan, and Harry with Will and Charles, that lead to the ultimate break from the royal ties.”
