Meghan Markle’s Assertion of Misogynistic Accusation Questioned

A royal correspondent has raised concerns over 's assertion that the phrase “difficult” is misogynistic after the Duchess argued that the term is solely used against women.

Meghan examined the term “tough” in the most recent episode of her Archetypes podcast and argued that its use was sexist.

However, according to Daily Express's royal correspondent, female assistants working at Buckingham Palace have used the phrase more frequently than not.

“It's easy to read a lot of what Meghan has said in those podcasts as an attempt to rewrite history,” Daily Express's Richard Palmer said in a statement to the Royal Roundup.

“She was discussing labels like ‘tough' and ‘difficult' this week, for instance.

Most of the women who worked for her at the palace in the royal household referred to her as tough.

Trending:

She made an attempt to argue that calling women ‘difficult' is somewhat misogynistic, yet the majority of those calling her that were female.”

Meghan, who has been referred to as “difficult” numerous times, took a veiled jab at those who called her “Duchess difficult” while she worked for the firm.

There were rumours that the mother of two was referred to by royal staff as “Duchess difficult” while Meghan and Harry were still employed as working royals in the royal family.

According to royal critics, the former actress would send her employees large demands via email in the wee hours of the morning.

responded by claiming that the moniker is frequently used against women in order to cover some of her truly amazing characteristics.

Before stating that “tough” was actually a code word for the B word, the Duchess discussed the phrase “B******,” which she referred to as “the B word.”

Instead of openly discussing her own personal experiences, Meghan said, “perhaps the fact is that calling a woman the ‘B word' or ‘difficult' is frequently a tactic to avoid talking to her.”

The Netflix Docuseries on Harry and Meghan to be Released Before Christmas

In other news, according to Yahoo News UK, the Harry and Meghan starring Netflix documentary will be available before Christmas.

The Sussexes and the streaming behemoth agreed to a multi-million dollar arrangement in 2020 to produce a number of shows with cameras following them about to document their life since leaving the royal family.

According to The Sun, the couple had hoped that the highly anticipated series, which Meghan referred to as a “love story,” would debut in January of next year to coincide with the publication of Harry's autobiography.

However, according to Yahoo News UK, Netflix will instead release the programme in the months leading up to Christmas.

The contents of the series are being kept a secret, and much of it was shot before the Queen passed away in September.

But with the debut of season 5 of the Netflix series The Crown on Wednesday, it might end up causing further unrest inside the royal family.

The “War of the Whales” that plagued the royals throughout the 1990s will be included in the popular show.

Additionally, it has already received widespread criticism for purposefully fusing the borders between fact and fiction.

One tale depicts Charles interrupting a vacation with Diana to conduct a covert meeting at Highgrove with the then Prime Leader Sir John Major in 1991 where they discuss the possibility of deposing the Queen.

While Sir Tony Blair denounced the images as “complete and total trash,” Major referred to the scene as “profoundly unpleasant.”

Meghan's podcast episode has caused quite a stir, with many people questioning her assertion that the term “difficult” is solely used against women.

In fact, the majority of people calling her that were female, according to Daily Express's royal correspondent.

Similarly, the release of the Netflix documentary on Harry and Meghan has already received widespread criticism for its purposeful blurring of the lines between fact and fiction.

It remains to be seen how the series will be received by audiences, but it is sure to cause further unrest within the royal family.
