Prince Louis Struggles to Understand the Queen’s Passing

The youngest son of Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, is still having a hard time understanding the passing of his great-grandmother, the Queen.

According to David Hurley, Australia's Governor-General, Catherine spoke to him about how Prince Louis has been asking heartbreaking questions about the Queen's passing.

The mother-of-three revealed that the four-year-old has been interrogating her with adorable yet heartbreaking questions about his great-grandmother.

The Governor-General shared that Prince Louis has been asking many questions as he tries to understand the loss of his beloved granny ahead of her state funeral.

One of the questions he asked was whether the family's visits to the Queen's beloved Balmoral Castle in Scotland will still be the same now that his great-grandmother has passed.

He is also asking if they can still play the same games when they visit Balmoral.

Hurley also revealed that Catherine shed light on how Prince George, who is second in line to the throne, is handling the death of his beloved great-grandmother.

He said that Prince George is now realizing how important his great-grandmother was and what is going on.

The Queen died at Balmoral Castle, her country residence in the Scottish Highlands, on September 8 at the age of 96.

Just weeks earlier, William, Catherine, and their children spent time with the Queen at Balmoral for their annual summer break.

Last Thursday, Catherine gave more insight into how the royal children are coping when she spoke to well-wishers outside the gates of Sandringham House.

She said that the children are well and being looked after at school, so they are in a routine and are being taken care of.

On another occasion last week, Catherine spoke about Prince Louis to a well-wisher while viewing tributes left for the Queen at Windsor alongside her husband, Prince William, and in-laws, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

She shared that Louis said, “At least Granny is with great-grandpa now.”

Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be attending the Queen's funeral on Monday, September 19, and will walk with other family members in the procession.

According to a source, William and Catherine have thought long and hard about whether their children should accompany them.

They believe that George and Charlotte are up to it.

According to the order of service, King Charles and the Queen Consort will walk immediately behind the coffin, followed by Princess Anne and Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Lawrence, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Sophie, the Countess of Wessex.

Prince William and Catherine will follow them, with Princess Charlotte and Prince George positioned behind their parents.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will walk behind them.
