Catherine Middleton to Celebrate 48th Birthday in Low-Key Manner
The Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine Middleton, is set to celebrate her 48th birthday next month, but it appears that the celebrations will be kept deliberately modest.
Royal expert Duncan Larcombe believes that Catherine wants to avoid comparisons with Meghan Markle's VIP bash and will instead keep the emphasis firmly on her family.
Larcombe stated that Catherine is not one to throw lavish parties for friends and family, and he cannot see her going on any VIP trips to posh West End restaurants either.
Instead, she is expected to celebrate with Prince William and her family, including her parents and siblings.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are growing older gracefully, and Catherine wants to keep things low-key.
Comparisons to Meghan's lavish celebrity gathering for her 40th birthday are also something that Catherine wishes to avoid.

Meghan marked the occasion by launching a mentorship programme to support women getting back into work following the pandemic.
Celebrities such as Adele and Stella McCartney attended the event to give 40 minutes of their time for the 40 by 40 scheme.
Catherine has also launched projects this year in connection with her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, but Larcombe believes that the Duchess of Cambridge would not make an announcement.
He said that Catherine is already an established member of the Royal Family and has no need to make announcements.
Meanwhile, rumors have circulated that the Queen has decided to treat Prince William and Middleton to an all-expense-paid vacation in the United States, orchestrated by Her Majesty.
The getaway will give William and Catherine a chance to get some well-deserved downtime with the kids before William takes on more responsibility at home.
It's set to be a relaxed trip without all the pomp and formality of a royal tour, and the Cambridges are planning to have a lot of fun.
They prefer the idea of leasing a townhouse overlooking Central Park over staying in a hotel, which would be less private.
Prince William, Middleton, and their three children will also visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art and a zoo in New York.
Shortly after, the Cambridges will head to the West Coast, where they will stay at a mansion in Beverly Hills.
During the evenings, Prince William and Middleton will go on date nights, and Catherine will cook for her husband at times.
They've hired an in-house chef, and they'll also try to make time for a movie night with the kids.
Despite being in the United States, the Cambridges will not meet Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The Sussexes allegedly do not want to be upstaged by the Cambridges.
However, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are insisting on meeting their cousins, Archie and Lilibet.
William and Catherine have been trying to explain why this cannot happen for now.
The Cambridges are focused on making sure that the trip is an epic adventure for the whole family, according to an unnamed source.
Catherine's birthday celebrations may be low-key, but the family vacation is set to be a memorable one.
