Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Too Distracting for Queen’s Jubilee Celebration, Says Royal Expert

The Queen's Jubilee celebration is set to take place in 2022, marking the anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's coronation in 1952.

However, there are reports that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may not be attending due to their controversial comments on the Royal Family and their decision to step back from working Royal duties.

According to Royal commentator Jonathan Sacerdotty, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would be too distracting if they attended the event.

While he understands why they may want to come back to the UK for the celebration, he also notes that their presence could shift the focus away from the intended celebrations of the Queen's spectacular and lengthy service as monarch.

“I think it would be very difficult for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to return,” Mr Sacerdotty said.

“I can understand why they may want to return for the Jubilee celebrations.

I also understand why the Royal Family may want to invite Meghan and Harry but also why they may not want to invite them.”

He added, “Meghan and Harry will absolutely shift the focus away from the intended celebrations of the Queen's spectacular and lengthy service as monarch.

That is undesirable for everyone, most notably Meghan and Harry, it should be at least.”

Mr Sacerdotty concluded that it would prove to be a difficult choice on whether to come or not for the pair.

“Them being in the UK, especially without having resolved previous issues will be a distraction.

I can understand therefore why they may not be here through their choice or the Royal Families.”

In addition to these concerns, there are many reports in the tabloids that suggest the Queen has banned Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from the events.

According to In Touch, Prince Harry and Markle can never visit the Royal Family again.

The outlet claims that after Prince Harry's recent interviews with Dax Shepard and Oprah Winfrey, the Royal Family is reeling.

“Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, and Prince William were reportedly left betrayed and dismayed by his revelations,” the report says.

“A source says the trio has secretly banned Harry and Meghan from returning to the Royal Family.

And, Prince Charles is reportedly especially angered.

He believes he's a good person and has done his best with his boys, a source says, so Prince Harry's recent comments have really gotten under his skin.”

Prince Charles even called his son to voice his displeasure, which may not be the best political move.

“Harry could destroy Charles' chances of becoming king,” a source said.

Not everything is known about the festivities being planned for next summer, but some details have been announced.

The Trooping of the Colour, an event traditionally held annually on the second Saturday in June, will serve as the kick-off.

It traditionally marks the British sovereign's official birthday, which is a date chosen specifically to celebrate and not the Queen's actual birthday, Queen Elizabeth's actual birthday is April 21.

There will likely also be concerts and other celebrations across the UK and the rest of the Commonwealth, including the Platinum Party at the Palace, which will be a huge concert near Buckingham Palace.

Performers have not been announced, but in the past, similar concerts at various Queen's Jubilees have included Will.I.Am, Elton John, Tom Jones, Stevie Wonder, Queen, and Paul McCartney, among many others.

It's sure to have a long list of A-listers performing.

However, the Duchess of Sussex and their eldest child, Archie Harrison, have not been to the UK since the family relocated to North America in 2020.

The couple's youngest, daughter Lilibet Diana, was born in California and has yet to meet her British family.
