Princess Beatrice and Husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi Expecting First Child

The Royal Family has announced that , granddaughter of the Queen, and her husband, property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are expecting their first child together this autumn.

The announcement comes at a time when the Royal Family is still mourning the loss of Prince Philip, who passed away last month.

The Queen and both families are said to be delighted with the news.

Buckingham Palace released a statement saying, “Her Royal Highness and Mr Eduardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce they are expecting a baby this autumn.”

The statement also revealed that the Royal Family was thrilled with the news.

The caption was accompanied by a lovely image of Princess Beatrice and her husband Eduardo on their wedding day.

Beatrice's baby boy or girl will be the second grandchild for and Sarah Ferguson and the Queen's twelfth great-grandchild, following the arrival of and 's second child this summer.

However, Beatrice's baby will be eleventh in line to the throne, but he or she will not have a royal title.

Only grandchildren of the monarch, through the male line, are automatically entitled to the styling of HRH.

This means he or she will be plain Master or Miss Mapelli Mozzi.

Since revealing their happy news, the couple has been flooded with congratulatory messages from well-wishers across the globe.

Many expressed their excitement and joy for the couple, while others suggested touching tributes to Prince Philip, such as naming the baby Philippa.

Beatrice and Edoardo were married in a private ceremony on July 17th last year, during the pandemic.

The couple had a few guests, including Princess Beatrice's grandmother, the Queen, and her late grandfather, Prince Philip.

Beatrice borrowed one of the Queen's dresses for her big day and wore the Queen Mary Fringe Tiara, which the Queen herself wore when she married Prince Philip in 1947.

On marriage, Beatrice became a stepmother to Edoardo's son from a previous relationship, Christopher, who is affectionately known as Wolfie by his family.

Wolfie served as a pageboy and best man at his father's wedding to Princess Beatrice when he was just four years old.

Beatrice is said to be hoping for a close bond between Wolfie and his new brother or sister.

Both Beatrice and Edoardo have the firm support of their families.

Beatrice's mother, the Duchess of York, has previously released a statement saying, “Wolfie is seen as a grandchild and is a much-loved member of the family.”

Wolfie's mother, Dara, is also fully supportive of Beatrice, Edoardo, and the blended family and proudly posts about co-parenting with Edoardo on Instagram.

In conclusion, the Royal Family has received some much-needed good news with the announcement of Princess Beatrice's pregnancy.

The couple has expressed their excitement and gratitude for the support they have received from well-wishers across the globe.

Although the baby will not have a royal title, he or she will undoubtedly be welcomed into the Royal Family with open arms.
