Duchess Kate to Make Prince Louis’ First Birthday Extra Special

It's hard to believe that it's been a year since the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their third child, Prince Louis.

As the young prince's first birthday approaches, the royal couple is said to be planning a private family celebration.

However, if previous birthdays of their other children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, are anything to go by, then we can expect some adorable portraits of the little prince to be released by the palace.

Last year, when Prince Louis was just a few weeks old, proud mother Kate, who is known for her keen interest in photography, captured a lovely photo of her daughter Charlotte with her new baby brother.

It is yet to be seen whether this year's portraits will feature Louis alone or with his siblings, but we can't wait to find out.

Prince Louis has been kept mostly out of the public eye during his first year, but on the few occasions we have seen him, he looks just like his mother.

The last time he was spotted was during a walk around Kensington Palace Gardens with Kate in February, where an excited fan shared images on social media.

The last official picture of Prince Louis was taken at the family's country home, Anmer Hall, featuring all five members of the Cambridge family.

This sweet photo was released just before Christmas for their official Christmas card.

Currently, the family is spending their Easter holidays at Anmer Hall, with everyone except Louis spotted out at the Burnham Halls trials on Friday.

It is believed that Louis stayed at home with his nanny, Maria Theresa Turrian Borrello.

For Kate, first birthdays are extra special due to her involvement in her family's first birthday brand.

In an interview with Good Housekeeping magazine, her mother, Carol Middleton, revealed that all her children have contributed to helping her business grow, with Kate taking charge of the first birthday brand.

She chose the products and looked after all the imagery in the catalogue production.

It's clear that Kate has a passion for photography and a keen eye for capturing precious moments.

Her portraits of her children have always been well-received, and we can only imagine that the portraits of Prince Louis on his first birthday will be no exception.
