Sarah has worn it on several other occasions, including Elton John's white tie and tiara ball, a banquet in Canada, and a 1988 tour of Australia.

Royal Protocol dictates that women are only allowed to wear tiaras if they are married, however, they are permitted to showcase their tiaras on the morning of their wedding day, which did on her big day in 2011.

As a result, Princess Eugenie will be able to walk down the aisle and take pre-wedding selfies in her mother's headpiece.

Eugenie studied a combined degree of art history, English literature, and politics at Newcastle University before graduating in 2012.

In 2013, she moved to New York to work for the online auction firm Paddle Aid as a benefit auctions manager.

The princess returned in 2015 and began working in London for the Hauser and Wirth Art Gallery, where she is still employed today.

Eugenie has also taken on charity engagements in the past, including with Teenage Cancer Trust, Children in Crisis, and Elephant Family, which are the same charities that her mother Sarah Ferguson supports.

Princess Eugenie has an estimated net worth of £3.6 million, which is only slightly less than 's net worth of £3.7 million.

Her fortune mainly comes from trust funds set up by her grandmother, the Queen.

The two princesses were also awarded a trust fund as a result of their parents' highly publicised divorce.

The wedding ceremony will take place at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, which has been the location for several royal weddings over the years.

The chapel seats 800 people and has a long history of hosting significant events such as the Order of the Garter ceremony and the burial of King Henry VIII.

The couple has invited 1,200 members of the public to join them on their big day, and the reception will be held at the Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park.
