They were also not invited to Tom Cruise's premiere in London on Thursday.

After Netflix scrapped Markle's animated show Pearl, their popularity took a major hit.

Royal expert Andrew Pearce declared that Netflix had realized that the royal couple were not the investment they thought they were.

The Daily Express asked its readers whether Meghan and Harry's star power is dying, and many confirmed that it was their behavior that led to their unpopularity.

The Sussexes have had another tough week as they continue their run-up to the Queen's Silver Jubilee.

They shut down their charitable organization, MWX Foundation, formerly Sussex Royal until the Queen nixed the royal, and according to Richard Eden in the Daily Mail, the final liquidation report revealed that costs of £130,583, $160,000, were incurred on winding it up.

Netflix, with whom they have a $100 million deal, is reportedly annoyed because talked to NBC last month about his meeting with the Queen, the “I'm just making sure she's protected” interview, even though a Netflix documentary film crew was already following him around.

The couple's post-Netflix deal interview with last year on CBS has also caused controversy.

As Netflix is losing subscribers and its stock has slid almost 70% this year, the streaming service is hoping to make the most of the Jubilee, which the Sussexes will attend.

However, Buckingham Palace staff are making plans to block Harry and Meghan's Netflix cameras if necessary.

A well-placed source told the Daily Mail that even if their Netflix crew can't go into Buckingham Palace to film, they could cause problems and at the very least cause a major distraction.

So a team of palace aides will be on standby to keep a very close eye on the crew and act as minders if need be.

On the other hand, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have faced criticism for their behavior and actions.

Despite their popularity taking a hit, they continue to make headlines as they prepare for the Queen's Silver Jubilee.

The celebratory mood is palpable, but it remains to be seen what the future holds for the Sussexes.
