King Charles and Queen Camilla will be joining the Prince and Princess of Wales at Westminster Abbey on December 15th for the special Together at Christmas carol service led by Catherine, as confirmed by Kensington Palace.

The senior royals will be heading to central London to attend the service for the second year in a row, with other members of the firm expected to accompany them.

Last year, , Zara Tindall, and Sophie Countess of Wessex were among the royals who attended the service at the monastery.

Catherine's immediate family, including her parents Carol and Michael Middleton, and her siblings Pippa and James, were also present.

This year's royal attendance will be especially meaningful as it will demonstrate support for the princess and her project, providing a show of royal unity and strength on the same day volume 2 of Netflix's Harry and Meghan's docuseries is to be released.

The two trailers for the six-part episode show released so far by the entertainment giant hint that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are ready to make revelations and allegations against the royal family.

After the coronavirus pandemic tore families and friends apart for months, Catherine started the Together at Christmas programme last year to honour remarkable members of their communities and charity leaders and to bring people together.

Last year, the then Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, Charles and , were unable to make the concert.

This year's service will continue to recognise the selfless efforts of individuals, families and communities up and down the country, as well as celebrate the joy that human connection and togetherness can bring.

The service will also be dedicated to the late Queen and the values Her Majesty demonstrated throughout her life, including duty, empathy, faith, service, kindness, compassion and support for others.

The Princess of Wales is leading the initiative, and the Royal Foundation is providing support.

Those performing include Craig David, Alexis French, and Samantha Barks, as well as a special duet from Alfie Bow and former Spice Girl Melanie C. Poignant readings will be delivered by speakers, including the Prince of Wales, Dame Christian Scott Thomas, Hugh Bonneville, and Cadena Cox.

The Palace said on Christmas Eve the service will be aired on ITV1 as part of a special presentation called Royal Carols Together at Christmas, which will be hosted by Catherine Zeta-Jones and includes Catherine's introduction and tributes to II.

In a statement released ahead of the service, Kensington Palace said, “this year's carol service is dedicated to Her Majesty II and the values Her Majesty demonstrated throughout her life, including duty, empathy, faith, service, kindness, compassion and support for others.
