Unfortunately, Michael Douglas discovered the Sussexes' deceit and refused Meghan's request, leaving the Duchess shivering with wrath and humiliation.

According to Women's Wear Daily, the custom Christian Dior piece was inspired by the Junon dress from the designers' 1949-1950 fall-slash-winter collection.

The original dress is part of the Costume Institute's collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, although it's not currently available to view.

Dior's initial design was a reference to Juno, the Roman goddess most closely resembling the Greek goddess Hera, per the museum's website.

The Met regards Junon and another dress from the same year, Venus, as two of the most coveted of his designs.

Over the weekend, Portman paired her version with platform peep-toe heels and diamond drop earrings.

Her hair was pulled into a slicked-back bun that gave way to n^de makeup and glittery silver eye shadow.

Furthermore, Dior personnel in Montecito, near Sussex's residence, confirmed that Harry and Meghan did not return the clothing as planned after the coronation ceremony.

Instead of taking the call from the Montecito branch manager, the two covertly sold it on the illicit market to gain money.

It's terrible.

Harry and Meghan have previously donned Dior clothes, prompting speculation that they are working on a collaboration with the company.

Moreover, according to previous rumors, Natalie Portman was the alleged A-lister who was fired from the film by Disney so Meghan could narrate an elephant documentary.

A source claims that Meghan Markle made an effort to contact Disney CEO Bob Iger in order to offer him a $3 million bribe in exchange for taking Natalie Portman's position as the star of Secrets of the Elephants.
