Queen Elizabeth II Tests Positive for Covid-19
Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Queen Elizabeth II has tested positive for Covid-19, causing concern among the royal family and the public.
The Queen is currently experiencing mild cold-like symptoms but is expected to continue with her light duties at Windsor over the coming weeks.
According to a spokesman, the Queen will continue to receive medical attention and follow all appropriate guidelines.
It has been reported that a number of cases have been diagnosed within the Windsor Castle team, including the Queen's doctor, Professor Sir Hugh Thomas.
The Queen had received three vaccinations against Covid-19, but has been on doctor's orders to rest since mid-October when she cancelled a series of engagements and spent a night in hospital for preliminary tests.
It is believed that she spent time with Prince Charles on February 8th, before he tested positive a few days later.

Clarence House also revealed on Monday that the Duchess of Cornwall had tested positive for Covid-19 and was self-isolating.
Buckingham Palace repeatedly refused to disclose whether the Queen had contracted the virus, though it remains unclear exactly when she provided a positive test.
The Royal Household has its own physicians, and Professor Sir Hugh Thomas is expected to be in charge of monitoring the head of state.
The Queen carried out her first major public engagement for more than three months on February 5th, when she met charity workers at Sandringham House and cut a celebratory cake using her walking stick to rest on.
Despite scandals surrounding Prince Charles and Prince Andrew that threatened to overshadow her Jubilee year, the Queen managed to smile as she returned to work at Windsor Castle.
However, she admitted to feeling frail for the first time this week and leaned on her cane during a meeting with incoming Defence Services Secretary, Major General Eldon Miller and his predecessor, Rear Admiral James MacLeod.
The Queen stood rooted on the spot and pointed to her left leg or foot, but mustered a smile when the two men approached her and shook her hand.
She was understood to have been feeling slightly stiff, rather than having injured herself or being unwell.
The news of the Queen's positive test has caused concern among the public, who are wishing her a speedy recovery.
The Royal Family has not yet released a statement on the matter, but it is expected that they will continue to monitor the situation closely.
In conclusion, the Queen's positive Covid-19 test has raised concerns about the health of the head of state, but she is expected to continue with her light duties at Windsor over the coming weeks.
