 According to a speech specialist, Kate Middleton imitates Princess Diana's public speaking habits.

Briggs, the voice behind the Weakest Link and Apple's Siri, has discovered some similarities between the Duchess of Cambridge and the late Lady Diana's actions while interacting with others – and speculated about the motives for the eerie similarity.

He informs the Express that Kate assumes a listening posture with her head slightly turned to one side, similar to William's mother Princess Diana.

“It's a stance that says, ‘I'm interested and listening to you, and ensuring that my status doesn't get in the way of this dialogue,'” says the author.

Jon has made a connection between Kate's voice and Princess Diana's, mentioning their age gap as a significant factor in the resemblance. “There is a lot fewer generational disparity between them than there is between Princess Anne and the Queen,” he said.

Kate's upper-class intonation, on the other hand, does not sound as normal to the duchess as it seems. Jon claims that after she married Prince William in 2011 and became thoroughly absorbed in aristocratic life, her vocals experienced a royal transition.

“Although Kate still talked clearly, she might not have had quite such a strong accent when she first joined the family,” he said.

“I expect her accent to have shifted into what we refer to as ‘Queen's English' over the last ten years in order to blend in.” It's what we all do while we're around people who don't talk our language.”
