Trevor Engelson, Meghan Markle’s ex-husband weds $200 million heiress
It seems that everybody has finally found their happily ever after. Trevor Engelson wed longtime partner Tracey Kurland in a low-key wedding in Los Angeles. Trevor is also the ex-husband of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex.
Trevor, 41, proposed to Tracey, 32, just weeks after Meghan's royal wedding to Prince Harry, proposing on June 1 after the couple had been dating for a year. According to Mail Online, the couple married on Saturday night at a private home in the exclusive Hidden Hills, just around the corner from Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's home, in an understated, intimate ceremony. The big day, according to a guest “it was a small, casual, yet intimate affair. The bride and groom seemed to be very happy and in love. The whole thing was so them.”
Tracey is also the heiress and daughter of a multi-millionaire executive, estimated to be worth about $200 million. This is, ironically, higher than Prince Harry's estimated net worth, but there are no losers here. Everyone is a winner.
FIRST MARRIAGE
Meghan and Trevor's marriage was just two years long. The pair split up because of “irreconcilable differences.” However, according to some sources, Meghan's appearance on Suits, which she shot in Toronto while her husband worked in Los Angeles, was blamed for the couple's breakup when they tried to make a long-distance relationship work.
‘A multi millionaire friend said the marriage ended so dramatically that Meghan returned her wedding and engagement rings back to Trevor via registered mail,' according to a quote from Andrew Morton's biography of Meghan, Meghan: A Hollywood Princess. Meghan made the choice to end the union, according to another report, and it came ‘absolutely out of the blue.'
