Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William’s Sweet Start to Royal Caribbean Tour

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have kicked off their royal tour to the Caribbean with a sweet start.

The couple visited the Chez Eel chocolate farm in Belize on Sunday, where they learned how cacao is farmed and even tried their hands at grinding chocolate nibs.

During their visit, Catherine couldn't help but remark that their children, , , and , would be very jealous of their trip.

The couple indulged in some chocolate fountains, dipping tortilla chips into the broken sticky liquid and trying hot chocolate made on the organic farm.

Catherine even commented on the amazing smell of chocolate around the farm.

William also joked about giving up his day job as a working royal, asking the owner of the family-run chocolate firm if he could come and work for her, saying, “It's my kind of thing.”

After their visit to the chocolate farm, the couple headed to the coastal town of Hopkins, where they were treated to a welcome dance and had the opportunity to experience local culture.

Catherine and William even took to the dance floor and showed off their moves, with Catherine playfully shimmying towards her husband in a rare PDA moment.

Their current trip to Belize, taken at the request of William's grandmother, the Queen, is intended to strengthen the UK's ties with Commonwealth countries as the Queen marks 70 years on the throne.

Dressed in a blue shirt and dark blue chinos, and Catherine were taken around by a farmer on the second day of their eight-day trip around the Caribbean to mark the Queen's platinum jubilee.

The Duchess looked stunning in a blue floral mini dress and n^de platform wedge sandals by royal favourite Stuart Weitzman.

She finished off her look with a fan-shaped clutch bag that she had recycled from a look during her tour of Canada with William back in 2011.

Local organiser Laura Cashow, who danced with the future king, said about the couple, “They were shaking their waist like nobody's business.”

Catherine was the first on the makeshift dance floor, joining nine local school children at the Garifuna Cultural Centre in the picturesque beachfront village of Hopkins.

William watched as she stole the show before he was tempted to join the performance, dancing with Ms Cashow.

She said afterwards, “He shook his waist to the music, he had beautiful rhythm, it was a pleasure for me.

Catherine was excellent as well and definitely has Garifuna culture in her.”

The couple's introduction to local culture also saw them offered plantain coconut broth, huduti, and a sweet savoury porridge called sahu with Belize celebrity chef Sean Kylan.

Fans of the royal couple went wild over the clip of Catherine playfully dancing towards her husband, with many commenting that they looked like they were on a second honeymoon.

The couple's trip to Belize is not only strengthening ties with Commonwealth countries but also giving them a chance to enjoy some time together and experience new cultures.

As the tour continues, it will be interesting to see what other experiences the Duke and Duchess have in store and how they continue to represent the UK and strengthen relationships with other countries.
