Growing Backlash Against Prince Harry’s Memoir Announcement

is facing a growing backlash in the US after Fox News dedicated a prime segment to mock his memoir announcement.

The segment, known as Friday Follies, typically sees popular host Laura Ingram and guest pundit Raymond Orio pick out the most ridiculous stories of the week.

However, this time, Harry ended up in the segment, with Orio claiming that Harry was about to smash the king with his new memoir.

The conservative pundit said, “Spare is an allegedly unsparing account of the Duke of Sussex's truth, his truth.

You have a spare key, a spare tyre.

I understand the air in the spare, but I wouldn't call myself a spare.

Trending:

He's the spare royal discontent.”

Orio also remarked on the cover, which is a close-up photograph of Harry.

He said, “In addition to looking like a video game avatar, Harry's cover photo looks remarkably like a companion piece to 's variety cover, both with that sun-kissed look.”

The pundit added that the cover and title were remarkably similar to Andrea Gassi's autobiography, before revealing that both were written by the same ghostwriter, J.R. Moehringer.

Orio said, “It seems like we're repeating the trend, but it's a trend of celebrity, not royalty.”

Miss Ingram responded, “I think it would have been more appropriate if it was just called Whipped because the poor guy is always in the shadow of his wife.

Not that there's anything wrong with that anymore.”

Harry's book title, Spare, has been slammed as a pathetic dig at the royal family.

It refers to him as the spare to the heir brother William.

Commentators say it shows still begrudges his lower status.

Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, declared, “Being the spare is still at the forefront of his mind all these years later, and he clearly feels belittled by it.

It's really a bit pathetic that he hasn't managed to move on.”

Diana used to call him the spare.

Harry would say, “I'm the spare.

I don't have to behave.

I can do what I want.”

A source claimed Harry may fly to Britain in the new year to explain his intent in writing the book, which is set to cast a shadow over the royal family's Christmas, the first since the Queen died.

Royal author Angela Levin slammed the Duke of Sussex for focusing his attention on past grievances with the King rather than on his new family.

She alleged that the Sussexes want to destroy the royal family.

Levin, while speaking to Sky News Australia, flayed the Duke for choosing Spare as the title of his memoir, saying it's a tragedy.

She questioned, “Does he still feel like that, having left the royal family, found a woman he's absolutely besotted by, got two children, an enormous house, all the freedom that he wants?

What he's doing is looking back and hanging on to it.

What's even worse, in a small way, is that the title in other countries around the world is Leftover, as if he's some sort of leftover on the plate.

I just think that's the most hideous title and it's nonsense.”

Levin went on, “To try and attack his parents when King Charles is really grieving for his mother, it's so unkind.”
