Prince Harry’s Memoir Could Spell Trouble for the Royal Family
Prince Harry's highly anticipated memoir is causing quite a stir, with insiders suggesting that it could have the royal family on edge.
According to reports, the book contains a lot of new stories about Harry's childhood that he has never spoken about before.
There is some content in there that should make his family nervous, says an insider.
Despite hopes that Harry would reconcile with his father Charles and brother Prince William after the Queen's passing, royal expert Phil Dampier believes this is impossible.
He describes Harry's book as a ticking time bomb under the royal family.
Even though Harry is donating some of the proceeds to charity, his publisher will want their pound of flesh.

The publication date has been pushed back, leading some to speculate that Harry is having second thoughts.
However, Dampier believes that the delay is so the disgruntled Duke can update the book with his version of what went on behind the scenes the week of his grandmother's death.
“Harry will definitely want to add an extra chapter,” he says.
According to reports, Harry resented not being able to wear his uniform and the seating arrangements at the funeral.
The book is expected to put the Windsors under the magnifying glass as Harry reveals his side of the story.
“Harry will want to settle old scores, things he bottled up for years but Meghan has encouraged him to unburden himself of,” explains Dampier.
The book is likely to touch on Harry's childhood and the way his mother was treated by the royals.
“Certainly, there will be no way back for Harry if he does,” Dampier sadly reveals.
The palace is understandably concerned about what will be in the book, according to Katie Nicholl, Vanity Fair's royal correspondent.
“We know from the things that Harry and Meghan have said in the Oprah interview and in other interviews that they're not afraid to criticize the institution,” she says.
Nicholl believes that Harry will not tone down his book in respect of his grandmother, despite earlier reports to the contrary.
Another royal commentator, Charles Ray, has urged Harry not to publish the book.
He believes that Harry will be paid a seven-figure sum for his writing and that the book will contain sensational bits.
“It won't just be a stroll down the road and say hello to various people,” he says.
Ray also warns that if Harry is critical of Camilla, it will not go down well now that she is queen.
Despite the concerns of the palace and some royal commentators, Harry seems determined to publish his memoir.
While there may be a ceasefire between him and his family, it seems unlikely that this book will bring about a reconciliation.
