Is Lilibet the Spitting Image of Grandad James Hewitt?

Fans of the royal family have taken to social media to claim that and 's daughter, , looks like James Hewitt, the former cavalry officer who had an affair with .

While claims of Hewitt being 's father have been denied, Twitter users have been quick to compare recent birthday snaps of to pictures of Hewitt.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated their daughter's first birthday during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee last weekend, and shared an image of Lilibet on social media.

While many fans sent birthday messages to the couple, some took the opportunity to point out the similarities between Lilibet and Hewitt.

Comparisons have continued since the Daily Star's report of the well-wishing trolls a year ago, with Twitter users pointing out the similarities between Lilibet and Hewitt.

One user wrote, “Got the jeans and hair color of her grandfather James Hewitt.”

Another joked, “Got a whiff of James Hewitt about her hasn't she?

Bless her.”

Despite Prince Harry denying that Hewitt is his biological father, skeptics on Twitter remain unconvinced.

One user wrote, “Google James Hewitt, bring up his pic next to Harry.

Same nose, same eyes, red head.”

Another said, “Beautiful lil girl, those Hewitt, oops I mean Windsor, jeans are showing through.

I bet grandad Hewitt is over the moon.

She's very cute.”

However, not all social media posts were convinced by the Hewitt comparisons.

One user wrote, “Harry isn't James Hewitt's son.

That was debunked long ago.

He looks more like Diana's side of the family.”

In other news, royal expert Tina Brown has claimed that has completely taken over Prince Harry.

During an interview with The Telegraph, Brown accused the Duchess of Sussex of turning her husband into someone so emotionally needy that he's been completely and utterly taken over by Meghan and his whole personality has changed.

Brown also questioned how their codependency will end.

The comments come following claims that the Duke and Duchess did not have a successful return to the UK for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Royal commentator Angela Mollard suggested their stay was not as successful as they might have hoped, even failing to secure a snap of their daughter Lilibet with the Queen.

Despite this, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are believed to be working with Netflix on a docuseries about their new life away from the Royal Family and the Monarchy.
